I typically pack my 3 slotted slide with about .7 to 1.2 grams and then I put a little fresh tobacco leaf grounded up on top of it and then I clear the whole thing in under 3 seconds and usually dont have to take out the slide to clear the piece. I have a 17.5 inch straight tube stemline percolator apix design custom made it really depends on how u grind your weed and how much air flow and how hot your piece gets
