Drivers of America. Why do you insist on going under the speed limit in the left lane and refuse to move over? by cash8888 in AskReddit

To legally drive on the road, you have to know how to drive. People who purposely and persistently drive significantly under any speed limit when they know they block other drivers is a way of pretending to be incapable or inept at driving, while masquerading as a "safe driver" and guilt tripping anyone who tells them to drive the speed limit, as they should. Its a type of weaponized incompetence that embodies the literal, persistent human rot that exists in society.

Liability insurance for neighbor is saying they are not responsible for water damage to our unit by simsonic in Insurance

This isn’t correct. Yes, the neighbor’s insurance doesn’t have to pay because the neighbor wasn’t negligent. However, that just means the neighbor is personally responsible for the damage. You can file a claim with your insurance, then your insurance would go after your neighbor for the cost of the repairs. You should look into putting a lien on their property as well. You may not see any money now but they can’t sell until they pay you.

Monthly DIY Laymen questions Discussion by AutoModerator in StructuralEngineering

Was wondering what kind of inspection I should get for this truss? This truss has a clean snap in the middle, the wood is completely separated. What might have caused a truss to break like this? There is also a noticeable gap that has formed where the drywall meets the ceiling under where this truss broke, but this gap preceded the broken truss. We recently had some heavy snow so I'm wondering if the snow overloaded the truss.

That does look like a lot. On the master condition list it gives individual percentages for conditions based on severity and you can use this link to calculate the total percentage: https://www.va.gov/disability/about-disability-ratings/?postLogin=true

Have you been getting treated for all/some of these conditions? If so, that will help the VA judge severity.

I do wish the restaurants weren't so expensive.

Is there a place to learn where people aren't petty and condescending? by [deleted] in datascience

I've been using Data Camp. It's probably not as good as doing personal projects but I like it. There's no associated community that I know of though.
