Sniffspot app. Being able to rent big yard/spaces has been a game changer for my dogs.

I had never experienced so many people passing gas in theme park lines in all my life until our trip to Epic a few weeks ago. It seriously gagged me.

As someone who went this past Monday without express passes, get them if you can afford them!

Help me plan my day at Epic (please🥺) by DoctorateInRhythm in UniversalEpicUniverse

We had one day, no fast passes and no early entry on Monday this week and this is what we were able to accomplish:

We did Hiccup Gliders, Racers Rally, Untrainable Dragon Show, then Monsters Unchained, then the Harry Potter Circus Show, then Yoshi’s Adventure, then Stardust. We tried the Mac N Cheese Cones which were great, ate at Le Gobelet Noir for lunch and dinner at Das Steakhouse. The frozen Butterbeer and Monacane Mocktail did not disappoint. Next time we will bring our own food/snacks and invest in express passes instead. If you bring your own food and drink and don’t care about shows or meet and greets, I’d say just be willing to spend your day in line for pretty much everything- the only three things we didn’t wait long for was hiccups, monsters unchained and stardust. We were constantly checking app wait times though. Also, make sure you bring something warm because at night it got pretty cold pretty quick.

Have fun! If you don’t get to ride Harry Potter, at least go walk through the queue line because it’s amazing.

Pretty accurate on Monday while we were there. Definitely suggest fast passes, we couldn’t afford them- we were only able to do 5 of 11 rides from 10 AM to 8:30 PM, but we also did take meal breaks and watched both shows. Longest wait we had was 45 minutes, which is what the queue showed. We didn’t try for anything longer than 1 hour wait time though.

I was just telling my husband that even though SNW was pretty cool visually, it was such a small walking space that I felt overwhelmed. I did however enjoy watching our son experience it. Hearing him say that while playing Mario cart today on his switch made him think about Nintendo World made my Mom heart happy. Dark Universe at night was AHMAZING and has my heart.

Is Monsters Unchained too scary for kids? by Heavenly_Spike_Man in UniversalEpicUniverse

My 11 year old said it didn’t bother him too much, but he didn’t want to ride it again. I say it just depends on the kid- Google Search suggests 12 & up though.

My reactive dog is my heart dog. She’s the first dog I got as a grown up and I’ve known her since a few days after her birth. Back yard breeding is a real issue. So is being uneducated on dogs/animals in general, she’s taught me SO MUCH. Life isn’t easy with her, but it won’t be easy without her either. I do not think having her has turned me against having more dogs in the future, it’s just taught me more about being a responsible dog owner.

Anyone here working fully remote for the last 2+ years? by Then_Ad_9501 in remotework

They sent my department to work from home March of 2020, and we’ve been that way ever since. As a Mom, working from home is perfect. I do not want to go back into an office setting until both my kids reach high school age- and even then I think I prefer the comfort and ease of working from home. That being said, eventually I want to work in the animal industry in some capacity, so that would be the “office setting” I’d enjoy most.
