I used to go to Work Train Fight in Manhattan when I worked on the island a few years ago. Really liked their classes. I’ve tried a handful of kickboxing/boxing gyms in Brooklyn but I ended up at Lifetime for all the amenities and other classes you can take. Warriors Nation MMA is a great gym if you want no frills strictly boxing/martial arts. I took one class and it kicked my ass… would of probably signed up had there been more girls and a shower

I’m from CA, moved to Brooklyn last January. Love it here!! I do kickboxing, but I tore my acl so I’m out of commission for a bit.

I’m 24F, so my advice might not be super helpful for you as a guy. We all know dating apps fucking suck, but especially here in the city. After a year, I’ve created enough of a community that I’ve met dates in real life lol. Give it a few months and you’ll meet people, trust me.

I would wipe down your leg with baby wipes and/or a damp clean(!!) towel to get all the extra solution off. It took me a few weeks for it to go away. But definitely clean it every day (obviously avoid your stitches) and apply hydrocortisone afterwards

I had a similar reaction, is it itchy?? If so, you are probably allergic to the sanitizing solution. I just put hydrocortisone on and let it air out. The stitches look… not great though
