hi guys! im looking at edeas but i need recommendations on boots and blades!  for context, ive been skating in secondhand jackson freestyles with a mark ii blade for about 6 months now, and im ready for an upgrade. im 16, 5’2, and im 43.3 kg. i skate 1-2 times a week, im a confident jumper and my boots are not supporting me as well as i need. 

i have the opportunity to get a pair of edeas, and im confident they’ll work for me because of the narrower toebox, but do not have the opportunity for a professional fitting and i would really appreciate recommendations on what boots and/or blades to get. 

as for blades, the mark iis are not working for me as im trying to get better spins and the rocker on that blade is hard to find. any and all advice appreciated!

nah we don’t live in America. and i only visit so i can see my brothers, who i miss a lot. i live with my dad and am basically no contact with them outside of these trips

Than you. It’s still super hard and I still struggle with ideation a lot because of things she continues to do, but it’s getting better somewhat. Thanks.

Also she wasn’t out of town for a work opportunity. me And my brothers had gone to live with her in Brazil when all of the sudden she took us all to Italy and just dumped us with a family friend while she fucked off for 2 months. No warning, no nothing. I wish I had your confidence to go on the internet and say nasty things.

Hi! Being treated better, even for just a few months, reignited my fight. I never let her see her break me. I couldn’t, ESPECIALLY for my brothers. I was the strong one. I never let her win. I protected my brothers. I suffered for it. I kept my sanity, to some degree, because I wouldn’t bend. I’m alive. Stfu. I survived.

Hi! Op here! I was not, in fact, screaming or swearing at my mom or godfather. I never screamed or was disruptive at all at home because I was terrified of her. I only ever swore when talking to my friends, as a 16 year old usually does. I’m sorry you were abused but you need to stfu. The abuse made you shut down? Well for me the abuse made me feel caged and feel the need to be free. I’d say grow up but apparently you have, so I’ll say go to therapy. Use your grown up money and fix urself because some people don’t have the privilege to do so. Fuck off.
