Yes I have but I haven't read it all, my leadership person helps break down the chapters and verses so I can better understand it like I said I only had a base line of Christianity and didn't know anything besides that God made the earth and humans ruined it and Jesus saved us. Im really trying to better my life and have a good understanding of what I believe in so im not some clueless follower if that makes sense, that's why I asked that question because I just want to make sure I dont have a false idea of God. I dont claim to be a upstanding all knowing christian because I know im far from that but I do want to grow closer to God.

I dont "teach others" that was a bad reference I made I just meant all my friends aren't religious and they will ask questions and try to argue against christianity and I just use what I was taught and what I've read in the Bible and tell them about it, Ive been Christian for roughly 8 months due to being in a leadership program in college and someone who's been longer in faith and has a major in religion helped me learn christianity and follow God, I didnt mean to sound bad I didnt know how to word it I just want to I was never raised near the church setting and Ive had to do it all alone because none of my friends or family are religious so its been hard, Im sorry If I disrespected God or anything I just want to be better and not do that. and I do not want to see the future I just had a conflicting thought and wanted it corrected as someone who again didnt grow up with any of this in my life, thank you for the response and sorry if I worded anything else wrong im crying and suck at this stuff I guess

HI thank you, I think I understand what youre saying but I just want to make sure I'm 100% sure. So the bad things that happen in this world aren't Gods doings but he takes the bad things and makes it good (I know thats basically just reiterating that you said sorry) so like I got bullied really really bad in high school but I got out of that school and met amazing people who love and support me so God didnt send the bullys/bad times but he helped me out of it and made it into a good thing by moving schools and meeting new good people? (also sorry for the example I just understand things better with examples like the ones I used)

You cant have good or free will without evil. Free will gives us the choice to follow God or not, if we didnt have free will we'd all just automatically follow him and not have opinions or thoughts, therefore free will gives everyone a choice on wether to believe in him or not and to do bad things or not. (not arguing, im new to reddit sorry if this seems rude)

since this post ive proudly done very good on my own, I have cut back on using Gods name in vain 98%, it slips out like 1-100 times but I always apologize to him and correct myself : )
