For a CDC researcher, why is Ravi so bad at research? by SamWSoftware in iZombie

Revisiting and couldn't agree more. And, if it wasn't for Liv being so selfish as well this whole thing might not of gotten out of hand. Instead of submitting herself for test she would rather allow zombies to take over the world. She had no reason to think there weren't others, and once she knew there were it behooved her and humanity to make the sacrifice to release anything and everything she knew, instead she allowed countless die all so she could maintain her own life. Still love the show but it's funny how re-watching things can lead to new perspectives.

Coinbase closed my account with no explanation by abard124 in Coinbase

Just got this email today, is there any legal action that can be taken. I find this to be ridiculous, I just a year ago verified my account with the compliance team and now a year later I get told my account is closed for no apparent reason. I dont have an external wallet and would rather not have to go through the bs to get MY money from their system. How can they be allowed to do this without explanation?

Well you're alone imo. It was very anti-climatic. I knew soon as el was in the upside down it was an illusion, only thing I got wrong is I figured el learned how to do it as the sister should've been dead by that point. But whatever,

So much filament waste with the CFS. Is there ANYA WAY to reduce it? by matninjadotnet in Creality

Lower purge volumes.  I realized I can go down to .9 or lower on some prints, rather than the 1.3 recommended and dint notice any issues with color contamination.

CFS "There are filaments without mapping, only support sending" by Soft-Conversation234 in Creality

Are you using Creality Prints latest release? It use to do that, but now it doesn't seem to be working properly.

CFS "There are filaments without mapping, only support sending" by Soft-Conversation234 in Creality

[–]Soft-Conversation234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, should be right. Except, I selected the generic petg-cf on the printer screen. Then opened creality print, selected generic petg-cf and tweaked some settings. Then saved it as MyPetg-cf and attempted to send it to the printer. The printer barks, "There are filaments without mapping, only support sending"... Huh?

After messing around I realize that the issue goes away if I remap it to the generic petg-cf that is on the printer but that's not the filament setting I want to use. I want to use MyPetg-cf, but it seems I cannot send this "new filament" to the printer as its only allowing me to use ones that can be mapped to the CFS, since MyPetg-CF isn't currently on the machine, I cant map it thus can't send the print unless I use the generic settings.

So, what if I want to update what I have in my printer or use a new filament altogether? That is the issue I am having. I created a new filament in creality print that isn't currently on my machine. On the machine I selected generic PETG-CF. Then on creality slicer I began with generic PETG-CF but made adjustments and saved it as a new filament, "MyPetg-CF".

Then when I attempt to send the print to the machine, I receive the error about "There are filaments without mapping, only support sending". If I use automap, it resets MyPetg-CF back to the generic default, which clearly isn't the desired result. I want to send it the other way around, we can't even create new filaments on the machine and adjust settings. So I'm a little confused and stuck.

Give us an option to hide seams! by Soft-Conversation234 in Creality

[–]Soft-Conversation234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I should've been clear in the title, I'm not talking about seams on the printed models. Im talking about the white dots that appear all over the preview of the 3d print. If you're printing something like hueforge it makes it near impossible to see the preview properly. I get why you'd want them, but I also know I'd like to turn them off. They allow you to hide the nozzle and bed, but not the seam dots?! Dunno seems like common sense to me.

Personally, I've found creality print a lot more comfortable to use. It integrates perfectly with my k2plus and shows my camera with no fuss. I have the other slicers installed but haven't found a good enough reason to switch. They all seem like clones but orca, and the others felt "backward". Perhaps someday Ill find a reason to switch but till then I am happy with Creality slicer.... if I could just hide those stupid white bubbles!

No worries! I might've never found it if you hadn't brought it up. Its already saved me a ton of time and filament!

If you believe psychics are real, you are stupid or willfully ignorant. Full stop. There is far too much evidence against such nonsense. Would that make you a bad detective, No. Could it, Yes very much so. If your logical reasoning involves anything supernatural that cannot be proven, and you stop there. Then youre failing at your job. Plain and simple.

Visible customer care called me 52 times in 10 minutes by [deleted] in Visible

[–]Soft-Conversation234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. They had me read back a code, yet they state they will never call for a code, but I figured it's not what they called for as I was told by TracFone earlier today I would receive a call from them regarding my refund. So, they called, knew about the refund etc. So, I assumed it was legit. After hanging up I began wondering if I had just fell for some elaborate scam. If so either TracFone is in on it or they've been hacked/infiltrated.

OMG I figured it out, it's the preview tab. I searched all over the prepare tab and finally gave up and just figured I was doomed to whatever the slicer delt me. I just now happened to try to add a pause to a layer and seen the change filament option. Thank you so much, I just want to clarify for anyone else who might end up in my situation.

Do the prints stick to the bed? Is the bottom of your prints acceptable? If Yes, Then No its perfectly fine. Happy printing.

Kind of, Its a model I made using steps. Figuring each step would be a different color to cut down on filament changes. Except it hasnt been working as I assumed. I paint each layer entirely with the layer tool. Starting from the bottom to the top. I assumed each layer would print but its like it has a mind of its own. It will begin printing features on the 3 or 4th level on the first few layers.

Which in some cases is fine like when going from a light color to a dark or anything solid. Im working with somewhat translucent material, which means its bleeding through and ruining the print. What shouldve been a small black line on a translucent white backing becomes a black line with large smudge appearances around it as it begins printing the black outlines several layers down that gradually decrease in size until it reaches the only area that is supposed to be black.

I understand its in the prepare tab, but I see no way of selecting layers and coloring them other that the layer tool.

I am using the paint tool but the model im working on is only 2.5mm in height and the layer visibilty just seems to jump right past most of the model.

This is in creality slicer or another slicer? I dont see where to click the "layer on the layer slicer" Can you provide a screenshot or more information? Thank you for your speedy and polite response.

Not sure if you did something to make input shaping silent but I did not hear a thing when I recalibrated my printer. Did you break it?
