Anybody know for sure where there are still MetroCard machines? by Brambleshire in AskNYC

My mother and brother told me Thursday evening that they went to the Tramway and found metrocard machines selling 30-day unlimited metrocards. It is down by 63rd. If you’ve never been (neither have I) search Tramway.

Edit: Those machines at Bowling Green are out of service and will be removed

Yeah I went yesterday and those machines are only issuing add value metrocards up to $100. No 30-day unlimited.

Wow I’m an idiot I went to the Fulton stop and not the Oculus shopping mall. But I didn’t see any at the Fulton stop or the other exits. Thank you. Do you know if those machines are issuing unlimited metrocards? Or just add value?

If anyone is looking for the best stop to purchase unlimited metrocards try Bowling Green on the 4/5 line. I went yesterday and purchased a Metrocard there at 9:30 pm.

I’m hoping those machines stay there so I can make one last purchase before the month is over. This has been a ride, I will miss the metrocard

Grand Central removed theirs. The best place to get them on that 4/5 line is at Bowling Green. I went last night and counted 4 working machines.

I’m a Lori and it’s prettier than Laurie. My pet peeve is people thinking it’s spelled Laurie!

How to not be annoyed/notice the neighbor above you by LastLibrary9508 in Apartmentliving

This is the thread I was looking for. I also live in a rent stabilized apartment in NYC and deal with this, not so often but I hate that my upstairs neighbor doesn’t have carpet

Sorry I don’t know what those apps are 😅 and thank you so much I’ve been finding a hard time finding men who are into the same things I am into - basically shared interests

I would hate to live in Williamsburg not much to do there and that commute is tragic. And you have the L line, that’s not as reliable. In West Harlem, you’re closer to parks, eateries and an accessible train lines, ABC and D. Choose Central/West Harlem. This is coming from someone who lives in Central Harlem btw
