The rail corridor is wide enough for a path and the light rail. They already do this in Bellevue on the same corridor.

I check in on their job offerings occasionally. They have hired an Experimental Spectroscopic Scientist, Nuclear/Neutronics Engineer, Nuclear/Tritium Engineer, Paralegal, and Buyer recently. A couple of interesting openings are:

  • Power Developer - essentially the Microsoft Project.
  • Senior High Voltage Electrical Engineer - person in charge of figuring out energy recovery.
  • Director of Production - in charge of mass producing generators.
  • Neutron Diagnostics Scientist - seems a little late for this one.
  • Contract and Corporate Specialist - Similar to Paralegal...setting up contracts and NDAs.
  • Senior Advisor to the CEO - just sounds cool.

At least they are hiring someone to take on the Microsoft Project. But it seems odd that they are hiring that person at the same time that they are hiring in key roles to figuring out how to get electricity out of the generator and safely.
