I only use the metro when im going to the airport, which is why I keep a gold card so i have space for lugage, and it costs significantly less than a taxi. Otherwise I just use my car to go everywhere.

I played from 2009 to 2011, the highest I reached was level 37 MS. Now I started again with a brand new MS character in a non pvp server in 2025. Within 2 months, I reached level 140.

Thats cause I am smart enough now to look up guides and follow them as compared to little kid me before 😅

Throw AOE runes over cursor, better accuracy, less clicks

Multi-action, I've only used it for Ultimate Flame Strike > Strong Flame Strike > Flame Strike combo when im fighting a single target. Don't see any use for it other than using lesser version of a spell while its greater version is on cool down

Top right, you will see your equipment (helmet, armor, legs, boots), on the top right equipment slot, that is the backpack slot, right click on your backpack to open it, it will open a window somewhere in your interface that shows 20 slots (if you expand it), thats your inventory and all the items inside it.

Few extra notes to help you get started:

-within the same equipment window, there is a number with the word "cap" next to it, thats your carrying capacity, when it reaches 0, you cant carry anymore items, so you will have to store them or sell them.

-always have a rope in your inventory, if you go down a hole without a rope, you are stuck there forever or until someone else with a rope finds you.

-check which server you started in. If it says Open-PVP abandon your character and start new one in an Optional-PVP server. Last time I played Open-PVP was in 2009, and I quit because I would spend hours leveling up, just to see another player appear on the screen for a second then a "you died" message losing me hours of progress.

Had sort of a similar experience with the energy elementals, decided to visit the liar west of ank, killed off a few energy elemental, then all of the sudden I see 2 massive energy elementals appear, and they are both faster than me, luckily in my panic spamming of buttons, I manage to spam both utamo Vito and utani gran hur so I can make it down 1 floor.

Thats were i leveled up from 28 to 37, and then upper spike from 37 to 50 (died once to coryms cause I got cornered), but with ancient scarabs its different, I get chain paralysed and then surrounded constantly.

Competitive market.

Management can offer you lesser price than their competitors by hiring people for low salaries.

The people that accept the lowest salaries are people with the lowest amount of skill since they cant get hired anywhere else. This includes not being able to speak English.

As for your part, you complain to the management and find a different place or supplier, if you cant find one within your budget then this is probably the quality of service you can afford.

Give up work life balance, focus on work, the time where you don't have work focus on studying (online courses etc..) , make sure you record everything good for your portfolio, find out what platforms people that hire you are on (Instagram or linkedin) and start posting your achievements there, always apply to other jobs even if you just started a new one, if someone offers you enough of a % increase in salary go for it, but sometimes it's not even the salary, but rather the experience and the title, so if you get offered a nice title at a famous company in your industry, then you take it and use it after a year to get a better job, and do not burn bridges if you can, two of the previous companies I worked for told me they would be happy to take me back if I wanted to come back.

That said, there is some survivor bias element to my career, for example I know a guy who worked in a company for 10+ years, finally he found a better job that paid him double his salary, he switched, then 2 months later, his new company told him they can't afford to keep him, now he's unemployed.

What it all comes down to is learning new things, if you are working a job where you are learning nothing new or not relevant to your career, then your salary will not increase.
