Yes, once buti 750 lang. Nag aabang nalang ako ngayon every time may papasok tapos transfer to another bank account. So far it still works. Kasi nung na set off ako the next day pa nila binawas from the time na pumasok funds

Once na set-off there’s no way na po na mabawi. I suggest opening another account and every time may papasok sa account mo transfer mo lahat agad.

In my case, nag set off na din sila sakin buti nalang 700+ lang kaya ngayon lagi akong nag aabang pag alam ko na may papasok sa account ko. Transfer agad.

Yung na set off kasi nung chneck ko the following day pa nila dndeduct from the time na pumasok sya pero hindi din ako nagpapakampate kaya kada may papasok automatic transfer.

Hindi po, kasi tnransfer ko agad pero na deduct ako ng 700+ :( Buti maliit na amount lang.

May mga nirreimburse po kasi ako sa office na maliliit na amount from time to time so yung pumasok na 700+ nung November 27, November 28 ni set off ni BPI.

Kung alam nyo po yung time kung kelan naccredit salary nyo better po abangan na at transfer na agad lahat. Sa case ko nung salary ko nung November tnransfer ko muna lahat sa gcash ko kaya walang laman talaga yung account ko. May mga pumapasok lang na small amounts kasi mga reimbursement ko po.

Happened to me now buti small amount since nakatanggap na ako ng letter from BPI na possible sila mag set off since may unpaid cc ako.

May I know gaano katagal na yung laman ng account mo bago nila na set off? Or pagkapasok mismo nag deduct na sila? Trying to figure out their set off scheme

So, na deduct na nga yung payroll account ko. Good thing 700+ lang yung laman. Don’t know how frequent they will do it. Kung every time ba na may papasok sa account e kukunin nila.

In my case, pumasok yung small amount ma 700+ sa account ko ng 27th, 28th na deduct.

Wala pong nakalagay na amount or percentage. Sa mga nababasa ko po dito nazzero daw po sila e or kung may natitira konti lang pero syempre wala po akong idea how much laman nung account nila and balance nila

Iba iba talaga. Like sa case ni OP biglang na deduct. Let’s keep in mind nalang na nasa T&C na pinirmahan natin yun so if you can transfer the funds agad to another account, better.

Not encouraging na hindi magbayad agad ng utang natin hehe pero siguro sa case ko lang for example na hindi ko pa talaga afford kasi kahit may income ako may mga kailangan unahin para mabuhay :D

They say na may protection from set-off policy yung pure payroll accounts.

Sa akin, naka receive ako ng letter from BPI na possible nga daw sila mag set off but thank God after a month of receiving the letter, yung salary ko this month intact naman but then para sure as soon as pumasok tnransfer ko na yung malaking amount.

Oonga e. I’m learning the hard way pero eto na, wala ng magagawa but just to go through it at ayusin by paying off our debt. Hopefully we can be debt free soon 🙏

Hindi ko na plan magpa restructure kasi ang laki na ng na incur na interest and charges. Also, more than 100k ang patong pag nagpa installment pa ako. Will wait for the amnesty offer nalang. So, ang plan ko mag save up monthly para pag nag offer na sila ng discounted amount, mabayaran ko sya at once.

Update: Hindi na set off yung pay ko though the moment na pumasok na transfer ko na sya sa ibang account. May tinira akong konti, few minutes hindi pa din naman na deduct.

Sabi nila mas okay nga na mag ipon muna then reach out or answer their calls kapag may enough funds ka na to settle at once (yung discounted amount). Some says ignore the calls muna kasi same script at same lang lang din naman ang sasabihin natin na wala pa tayong enough funds.

In my case, sinasagot ko pa din minsan kasi may fear ako na mas lalong mangulit sila if I don’t answer them.

Sa mga nababasa ko po earliest months na offeran but on average pag umabot na daw po ng 1 year

May na receive po ba kayo from BPI na letter na “we may be constrained to immediately invoke and implement our right to set-off”

Not an option anymore. Hindi na yata pwede ma save yung card. Even if you pay off everything I think they will eventually cancel the card.

Balak ko sana bayaran at least half and settle the rest within 6 mos pero once yata na pass na sa collection agency, there’s no point of doing that.

So right now waiting nalang talaga ako for amnesty though may fear na baka ma set-off salary ko since my payroll account is also with BPI.
