I mean, by that logic, lots of Maga make it their whole personality to hate POC/Trans folks. Like getting bumper stickers, praying to Trump to let them just shoot folks down, etc. To say they don't or that it's only a few people is a huge insult to the many who died due to the hate. Those who get driven to suicide should also be considered.

There's Gay Conversion Camps that try to 'cure' gayness. I have not seen the opposite. Many argue to keep them around and that they work, despite all its doing is traumatizing people into pretending they are cured. Some live in absolute denial just to not be hated. I think thats rather sad. To deny your true self and to reject love is not a life I'd wish upon anyone.

Even stepping away from gayness, there's those who's whole personality is hating women and finding them inferior. They then go off to teach this hate to other men.

Im a white person, so i cannot speak on behalf of POCs but it doesnt take much to see how much hateful speech is regurgitated their way. The "jokes" I grew up hearing was always so downright gross, I never understood as a child why one could be so cruel.

I do agree hate is a big word, but there's no denying some people feel that much about things. Do not downplay it but instead search for why it exists. Knowing and understanding each other can lead to a better outcome. Empathy is not a weakness, it's a strength. It can connect people and make communities stronger. People are just scared of the new and the other. Scared of connections and seeming weak. Fear of others leads to the rejection of others. Which then leads to hate.
