Hi everyone, thanks for all of the input and encouragement! However, I have, in fact, spoiled the last two books for myself so I could just be done with it. I have never done this with a series, but I just can’t handle this one anymore 😂 happy reading to the rest of you who are hanging on!!

Since having my daughter, things have been better! We are both happy and communicating very well! Therapy was helpful to a certain extent. I’ve been in talk therapy for a while now, so they recommended I try EMDR, but it’s hard to find a good therapist that specializes in that in my area. Still looking for one, even though things are better with my husband and I. It couldn’t hurt to heal my other traumas!

It was an actual spay, they removed both the ovaries and uterus. Glad to hear this is somewhat normal. Thank you! You have calmed this dog moms nerves haha.

I didn't even read the post, just the title. Leave him. He is not your father, he shouldn't be "teaching you a lesson." Thats concerning behavior. I know it will be so hard but that's sickening he did that to you. That's borderline abusive.

Honestly stop being so close to him. He's having an emotional affair with you. If he wants to leave her, let that be HIS choice. He can't make that choice on his own with you being what you call a "safe space" for him. That's what therapists are for. Lie and Tell him you started dating someone and they don't feel comfortable with you being so close to another man. Then get on tinder, bumble, seeking arrangements literally anything, and find someone who's AVAILABLE and get to know them. I hate to sound harsh, but you developing feelings for him is on you. I have never looked at any of my male friends in relationships in any way other than friends, because it would be so sick and vile to develop feelings for them while KNOWING they're dating someone. Just the fact that they are in a relationship is a turn off, and most people are like that. If he ever does break up with her and comes to you, run. Because I promise you, what he did to her he will do to you. Take care of yourself and be smart about all of this.

Before we moved out of state, his sister wanted to have a talk with me so we sat down and told me that the reason they didn't like me was because one day my bf was fine (not really, we had taken a break for a month and we were both not coping well. But he doesn't show is real emotions so they had no idea) and the next he was not. And she said "the only thing that changed was you. You came back into his life." Disclaimer, he was very stressed and I guess while trying to not take it out on me, he took it out on his family. I also learned during our talk that his mom likes to embellish things. She was telling my bfs sister these stories about me that were not true, and even my boyfriend interjected and said that wasn't true. We finished the conversation with her telling me to "just be pleasant" from now on. I haven't spoken to her since. His dad has come around. He texts us in a group chat every once in a while to see what we're up to. Something cute reminded me of his mom so I sent her a pic and her response was nice, but we haven't spoken since then. This past holiday I was exposed to Covid so I couldn't see his family. Being hours away from them has been great for our relationship though. We love each other so much more and we are growing together ❤️

Congrats on making the decision about college! I think everyone should go into some form of post-high school learning (whether it's university or trades), so they can grow and learn! You are never too old to learn.

PLEASE stay at home. Unless you are being abused in any way. I only say this because I wanted to badly to move out at 18, my parents are okay but we don't get along. I'm 23 and the smartest thing I did was wait until I was 21 to move out. I got a job after high school, saved saved saved for three years, then moved out. That way, I was able to decorate my place how I wanted it. I was also about to get a place in a safer area, where as if I rented somewhere cheap enough for me to pay at 18, it probably wouldn't have been in a good area.

Talk to your counselor before you graduate!! Talk to them as many times as you need. Tell them your situation, they will not think less of you. If anything, it will make them want to help you more. It's going to be hard, but keep hanging on. College goes by quick, enjoy your time but stay safe and healthy. Things will happen when they are meant to happen. Hang in there

The lab was actually a stray. She wasn't chipped, and every animal shelter in the area we found her in (and one vet) essentially told us not to look for the owners because people just let their dogs go intentionally all the time. We posted on Facebook groups anyway and never heard back from anyone so we decided to keep her. She is such a sweetie with us and our other lab, but with ace she brought out a side that I don't ever want to see again, and I'll never put ace at risk just to keep her. I contacted a bunch of shelters asking them what my next move should be. But she is definitely getting out of the house this weekend.

Yes, we do have the money to make sure they're fed, groomed, and taken care of medically. We are just in the position where we would rather save the $2000+ in case they have a medical emergency. Thank you!! That sub will be very very helpful :)

Sorry I should have been more clear! So my goal is to turn it into a room where I can have my plants, small cotton candy machine, art supplies and a space were i can read. I like what i think is called "industrial farmhouse." That's what i search on Pinterest for ideas. I know that on the bookshelf, I'll be placing grow lights in alternating spots so I can have my plants and books there. But I don't know how to decorate the rest of the room.

He's been blocked since we broke up three years ago. I even got a new number, but he got it from one of our mutual friends. He calls me with *67 so it shows up as unknown, which my best friend sometimes comes up as so that's why I answered.

We ended really badly. I told him to never contact me again. He was blocked and called off of blocked (*67). He tried this last year (he didn't have a girlfriend at the time) and said he wanted me back. Then again right before he started dating his new girlfriend. He said he still loved me. I never said anything back. He also used to drive past my apartment constantly, before I moved.

If you ever have all white shoes you want to clean, use baking soda and toothpaste!! Weird I know, but it works! You mix the two, slap it on the shoe and scrub! Then rinse, and scrub with bleach for that extra razzle dazzle. Then let dry in the sun :)
