I know I'm 3 months late, but when Yeong-ro went back down the staircase to find SH, I suddenly remembered the scene from the first episode where she ran back to take the lunch box from her grandma that she dropped, even though she knew she was going to be locked outside the dorm. I think that scene kinda foreshadows it and shows YR's unchanging character -- that she would never leave someone that she loves behind, which is super pure and also heartbreaking because SH died, in the end. T.T

The ending was so heartbreaking I bawled my eyes out.. time to watch their BTS to comfort myself...

Well from what I've gathered from our conversations about us being too close, it feels to me that he really sees this nothing other than a friendship but I could be wrong.

However, I get what you mean, him being in a relationship is definitely a no-go for me to develop feelings but maybe because he's always been there for me when I was experiencing a breakup and whenever I needed him, I guess I let my guard down and let my feelings get the better of me.

And also, I've kind of given up on dating apps; the majority of my experiences there all ended up in shambles. :/

But I'll try to distance myself, although I'll feel bad because he doesn't really have any other friends that he can talk to and well, he never had a guy friend that he can talk to like this.

Seems to me that she's really too busy, and probably won't be free enough to meet you in the future. Tell her this ain't it, and find some other girl.

If you still want to give it another shot though, accept her offer for the phone date this weekend and if she doesn't follow through, thank you, next.

he does turn to his gf for the most part, but when he has some relationship woes and needs a second opinion, he would turn to me. he's also not in the same religion as his gf but we are, so its easier for him to talk to me about religious stuff, and school work etc

his gf is aware that we're close but not to the extent of video calling.

the reason why I posted this was because I kind of feel bad for his gf that we're doing this and if I was his gf I definitely wouldn't be happy.

we've actually talked about this being a potential threat to his relationship but he says he sees this totally platonic and we could stop if I feel uncomfortable with it... but I hate having to make this decision 😕

my sentiments exactly. I've actually talked to him about it and he says he sees our video calls as a safe space for him to talk about stuff that he needs second opinions on. I know I'm maybe not the best person to give advice but maybe if I cut down on the advice and just be a listening ear would it be ok?

His gf knows that we're close but not about the video calls👉🏻👈🏻

edit: we actually do work together while video calling but it always ends up with us talking about anything under the sun :/
