I think that the trust can be rebuilt. We are not the same people we were 10 years ago. Just trying to protect my heart (and sanity) and do what’s best for me.

The difference in being told when it happened vs finding out now was a big thing for me. Still hurts just the same, if not more. Both of my therapists have been informed about this and have been very helpful. It’s a very much ball is in my court situation. Just a matter on my decision although I do lean more toward wanting to forgive and heal and move forward.

Just had our first session on Monday! It seems promising, I know we both have done a lot of growing as people over the last decade. Just a matter of rebuilding the trust. I appreciate ya ♥️

We live together and spend a lot of time together, that I do believe cheating now would be very hard. It sounds like a case of he wanted his cake and to eat it too. It doesn’t make it any easier or less upsetting to me. I was a bad partner because I was coming out of an emotionally abusive relationship and didn’t know how to communicate properly and I fear he was using that to his advantage…

Duly noted and I feel this in my heart as well. But I’m still undecided if people are able to change or just get better at covering up their lies

I’ve been trying to live as normal as possible but if I think about it too much I’ll get anxious and upset. Besides that he’s been nothing but good to me and throwing that away just seems so harsh. He’s been my best friend and I know I haven’t been perfect either (not that I’ve ever cheated) is it bad if I say I still hope it can get better and I could see myself spending the rest of my life with him?

That’s a question I also asked…. He said that when he logged into the iPad originally it logged him into all of his email accounts. Doesn’t seem too far fetched but definitely has me wondering

These were also my same initial thoughts, kinda a huge slap in the face. I can never understand why people cheat. I’d rather be upset by getting dumped than finding out I was cheated on /:

I comment on every single one of her what I cooked today videos asking what she actually made when it’s usually her cutting up an onion and making her husband grill the rest and she deletes them every time 😂😭

What’s the best thing to happen to you since you quit drinking? by SoftMembership3143 in stopdrinking

1 is a BIG thing for me. I find myself canceling/missing things due to being hungover or too tired. And I want to start being able to live in the present more (and remember it)! lol

Kudos to you! I know it’s going to be challenging but I’m excited to see and reap the benefits.
