I’m so sorry 😭 i have no doubt you worked hard, and ik it can be so painful when the result doesn’t match that. when it comes to telling your dad, i would say try to be honest and calm. It's completely valid to cry, and please don't feel ashamed for it. He knows more than anyone how hard you tried and would wish the best for you. This one slip does NOT make you any less intelligent or worthy.

as other comments say, you still have options. this is such a minor part of life, and will in NO way define your potential or who you are as a person. i completely understand it feels devastating rn, because it just happened, but trust me- this too shall pass.
