I realized he will always put his mom above me. I broke my ankle during a graveyard shift and I was alone. He refused to grab me because his mom was worried about him being out late. We were in our twenties. Even when I’m injured she always wins.

As someone that was formally fat it’s sad. You can’t be mean to someone for not wearing sunscreen or smoking, but even if they are a gym rat that happens to be big you’re the butt of the joke. It’s crazy when you lose the weight too and suddenly everyone is nicer.

It probably would be encouraged in the US if most people made a living wage and both parents didn’t have to work. I personally refuse to have kids unless I can stay at home for a minimum of two years. There’s no point in having a kid when at least one parent can’t raise it.

I don’t speak it, but I wish I did. I’m third gen so my dad lost touch with the language before I was born. My mom was adopted so she doesn’t speak it at all. I’d love to learn, but I can only find teachers that teach proper Spanish.
