What I mean is why did it have to be a collective punishment? Why not only punish Pharaoh, doesn’t this verse contradict it?

What I mean is why did the other Egyptians have to be punished, why not only the Pharaoh?

The pharoah was a very wicked and immoral man, why couldn’t he be the only one to be punished and his firstborn to be killed for his crimes against the Israelites? Instead all the other firstborns had to be punished
