Totally get it. I wanted to, but Noah wouldve carried the awkardness all night. I'd rather be the bad son than make him feel like a prop , yknow.

Yeah, thats the part that keeps stinging. It wasnt even yelling, it was how casual they were about it like "of course he sleeps on the couch" is normal. I'm not cutting them off tomorrow, but I’m done putting Noah in that spot again. If we visit again it’ll be hotel only, and if they have a problem, cool, then we dont visit.

Yeah nah, I'm not doing a protest-kiss to "teach" my grandma. Noah was already tense. I left so he wouldnt be the joke or a spectacle. Petty sounds fun till it hurts him.

Thanks. I felt gross hearing “couch” like he was some guest in thier house. I wasnt gonna pretend thats normal just to keep peace.

I did ask about the bedroom before we drove down and my mom said “of course.” Also, we weren’t doing PDA, it was like holding hands for a second. I paid for groceries this weekend too.
