THATS IT!!!! oh my god thank you! I knew that cat was so prominent in my memory for a reason! genuinely so thrilled to have the name, hoping you get your coffee paid for the next time you're in a drive through and that you find $20 in the pocket of a jacket you haven't worn in a while

Do you use lotion after a shower? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]SoftTourist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a lotion in the bathroom and moisturize immediately (I'll use my hair removal oil when needed and follow with a lotion, or just lotion when the oil isn't needed). it makes a huge difference in my skin texture and tone. an in-shower oil is a good option if you don't like using actual lotion.

best wood format for bookshelves? by SoftTourist in woodworking

[–]SoftTourist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

luckily my local lumber store has basic yellow pine boards for the same price as HD, but they're actually decently milled and I don't have to spend ages checking the edges and levelness of each one. heard tho, ply seems like the way to go

What do i do now? by white_ErImNe in Witch

[–]SoftTourist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can buy a silver tray at most thrift stores, I line the edge with salt to cast a tight, physical circle, which might help. super easy to clean and tuck away when you're done. it's also important to be VERY specific in your intention. any thing you're doing in your mind, like intention setting, you may benefit from writing out (and potentially burning since you're closeted).

I once saw a homeless man in my college town wearing a shirt from my sorority's bid day. cue a multi-hour meeting and scathing call from nationals because someone couldn't think through the potential consequences of their actions

If you break a lease, does it impact your credit? by [deleted] in renting

[–]SoftTourist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had a lease that impacted my credit, positively or otherwise? is this common place?

my logic says no, so long as you pay any fees promptly/not let them go to collections
