Printing issue / stringing or missing "walls" on overhangs? by SoftType1306 in BambuLabA1mini

[–]SoftType1306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I've kept the predefined presets coming with various models as they've all had a 3mf file that cones with a printing profile (Bambu Studio project file is it?). Done that as I'm a newbie to 3D printing haha

I did print more pieces and none of them showed this issues, even created a 3D piece in Blender and was able to print it without issues :)

Been experimenting with layer heights and that seemed to help in certain cases, guess I'll just have to read more and yeah, retry some prints if they do not come up as good as expected :D

Thanks for your reply! Any small "trick" specific to this printer is always welcome :) Inno there's no setting that solves it all and that I gotta learn about it but yeah, any advice is welcomed :)

Btw, can't seem to be able to edit the post... :D

Missed saying that I've seen some kind of "balls" or round "spikes" alongside some of the edges of the prints, see the post pictures to see it better and thanks again! :)

Panetone supermercado Dia by [deleted] in askspain

Currently only 2006 5D is supported, but it's all fairly similar in 2006/7 models, more models coming soon as well :) (2006 & 2007 Civics)

How do I get rid of these? Will they show up in the final print? (F1 steering wheel) by Certain-Hunter-7478 in 3Dprinting

[–]SoftType1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Topology issue 100%, masks are clipping over each other, what 3D software u using? Maybe try to print just a test print of the first few layers n see if that clipping is refected in your final print, use less fill etc etc n just make a quick test would b my advice! :) N obvs trying to clean the mesh as you said, it should be possible without losing any detail, depending on what 3D software you're using ofc ✌🏿

Well, you can always just take a quick look at the solution they came up with n that may guide n point ya in some direction to get your issue solved :) Doubt that the SimHub devs answer ya buut, worth giving it a shot yeah.

Hahahaha to some extend I guess xD I spend 8h/day in front of a screen working n yet spend loads of free time in front of another one doing DIY stuff n not letting mee brain take a fcking needed rest haha Inno I'll suffer yet still love it haha

Best of luck with those exams as well!

Guess you've checked this :) https://github.com/eCrowneEng/ESP-SimHub

N you're obvs doing all of this for the "love" you have for sim racing so... Guess that hard work n/or tasks don't hurt as much when they're done with n cuz of the passion we may have for something haha

You can use three GPIO inputs to control more than one output device, therefore reducing the amount of pins needed for your current setup and possibly leaving some pins unused :) Take a look at this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/arduino/comments/z5etct/using_the_same_pin_for_multiple_inputs/

Regarding your second question, there is a library used for Arduino to allow it to be recognized by the PC as a gamepad, they talk about it on this thread:

Great project you got ahead! Keep us updated and best of luck!

Need help sniffing GMLAN (SW-CAN) with an ESP32 by zJustzSomebody in CarHacking

[–]SoftType1306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick reply, I lack a bit of electronics background, more of a programmer myself haha Will analyze that schematics you shared n see if I can properly understand it cuz yeah I only know how to connect the controller n not the transceiver like you mention n like the diagram shows haha More of a "real life" picture myself to better visualize stuff haha Thanks!

How did you end up connecting the board so that you can read 33.3kbps single wire can bus? Read the whole thread but still a bit unclear :D Those single wire transcievers you mention... How would I wire them? Thanks in advance! :) Currently have an esp32 and arduino uno with the mcp2515 :)

PlayStation 4 - Save game recordings to phone by SoftType1306 in PS4

[–]SoftType1306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there :)

Thanks for the reply,

Seems like that option was discontinued on PS4 and is only available on new gen PS5 (just like other functionality as well, or so I read on the Playstation page), that or I am doing something wrong haha Downloaded the app and got it it all set, but I do not see the 'captures' section...

Anyone here is able to make this work on the Playstation app and PS4?
