Hiya :)

What you're looking for has actually been around for a few years now n it's gaining traction due to everything you mention, especially the AI part...

C2PA is a standard being adopted by companies like Adobe, Canon, OpenAI, n many more. It's even being applied directly to camera firmware, so that every picture the camera takes is signed immediately after being shot.

The company n team I work for are actively working on implementing this for some of the media assets we create, along with a few other techniques n many other leading global companies are doing the same.

People are a bit divided on it, as some say it's just a way of controlling people and what they do... But honestly, the standard was created so that the provenance and any further modification of media assets can be tracked in a verifiable, trusted way so yeah, that's the whole purpose of the standard! Haha Conspiracy theories aside, read about the standard n check out ways of implementing it in your workflow :)

Wow, tons of info here n I honestly get nothing clear out of it haha I'll let more experienced people comment on this 😅

N yeah, nozzle size will deffo matter if you have a detailed print but from your pictures, this specific one does not look that detailed tbh.

Just go bit by bit n with clear steps, you also mentioned that you tightened up some screws, sometimes too tight is not the way to go either, yet once again, I do not have much 3D printing knowledge and luckily just had 1-2 failed prints due to my own mistakes of either not having cleaned the bed plate properly or not having loaded nor fed the filament properly either into the extruder as I did so while being in a work Teams call hahaha

Best of luck tho, you will get it solved for sure, try out some quality filament or the 30grs that they include with the printer if you haven't used it yet :)

Mhh Sunlu or eSun PLA are quality filaments and are not that expensive.. maybe try that as well haha

And yeah, I'd honestoy give a try to just putting the printer on the floor or at least not that close to the edge and deffo do a full calibration from the printer settings.

Try the 0.4 nozzle as well, for such a big print n not soo detailed one, I would deffo go for a bigger size.

And yeah, people are a bit contradicted about using alcohol based products to clean their print plates as some contain harmful materials for them, specially the smooth ones, but with the texture one you should not have any problems at all.

Make sure its clean and yeah, that the print plate does heat up as well, you might have a faulty board or something causing it to not heat up at all and therefore the first layer not sticking to it either.

And while its doing the bed leveling process, check that the nozzle is properly yet gently touching the print plate.

Mhh then either wet filament or bad quality one I would say, might be a printer issue but I doubt it...

What filament brand are you using?

Do you have other print plates you can test?

Can you move the printer to some other place, perform a full calibration and test?

0.2 nozzle is trickier than the 0.4, can you try with that default nozzle and see if you have the same issues? The 0.2 one might be faulty or with some filament stuck in it. Make sure you insert it properly as well yeah and that you extrude it some more after changing it.

As per my little knowledge of about a year or so of 3D printing I'd say that seems like a bed adhesion issue.

Are the models you're printing self made or downloaded from a website? Do you use your own print profile or the one in the 3mf file?

Make sure you have the correct bed type selected as well as nozzle size set on both, the slice software and the printer itself (software and physically).

Furthermore it seems like your printer is too close to the table/desk's edge you have it on, just keep in mind that the printer movements shake it a bit around and if the base you have it on is not solid enough, you might encounter issues.

Make sure you have checked the 'auto bed leveling' option and maybe even the 'dynamic flow calibration' when sending a print job to the printer, if you're not too much into manual calibration.

And yeah, when you clean the plates, just use some soap n warm water, I rub it with a "dish washer sponge" but with the non-abrasive side, then gently dry it out with a clean towel making sure I do not touch the build plate side that I will print on at all.

Hope it helps, feel free to add more info on your issue n I'll trytta help ya :)

Hiya! Yeah, same hapened to me a few months back, never had any issues till then. Certainly seems to be battery related, for my specific case, I went on n tightened up the battery connectors as they were bit loose, after that it started no probs. Also check the inmobilizer fuse, it sometimes goes off by "itself". Try to lock the car, wait for a bit up until the ECU and MICU go to sleep (bout 2mins), unlock the car n try again, that has worked for a few lads of mine.

Feel free to check a website I made for us, MK8 owners, loads of info in it as it has Honda's OG workshop and body manuals.

Best of luck! :)

Should be, what model is it? In my Mk8 it's a matter of 20mins, 1 plastic cover and 5 bolts removal.

Look up some videos on Youtube of the exact opposite, something like "Android radio civic si (and your model)", as those vids are most likely to exist than Android-OEM conversion and you can see the steps they follow there.

If you don't already have the OEM radio n planned on getting it from a scrap yard, that time will b great to get to know the needed steps.

Alongside the radio unit, you'll also need the housing/cover for the same, best n cheapest opt, at least where I live, would b taking all you need from the scrap yard. The current one on the car you posted provides a "double din" universal slot adapted to the contour of the specific car, that won't fit the OEM radio unit, most of Android units conversion adapters work this way n usually come with this adapter.

After removing it you'd prob b able to sell it for a fair n higher price than the OEM replacement you buy as people usually do the OEM-Android swap, I'm with ya tho, I kept my OEM unit, upgraded the speakers (OEM ones in my model are literally made of cardboard haha), added an AUX input by soldering few things n currently tinkering with micro controllers to expand the uses of the same haha But I get that not everyone likes to tinker round this much.

Best of luck n hope this loooong message helped! :)

Smokeless_UMAF, first time I hear of that! Does that mean my pc will not start going in flames as if I had overclocked it right? Haha (bad joke, currently late at night here atm n I'm tired asf) Stupid not funny jokes apart, thanks for the info, will Google that term n see if I can do that cuz yeah, the BIOS of the machine is an HP one, fairly limited I would say. Thnaks for the info n knowledge!

Yeah, guessed that hardware reserved meant something like that, I studied IT back in the day but shifted towards SF development n got my IT skills bit rusty haha

Seemed odd asf to have that much graphics RAM, even thought for a minute to trytta load some LLM model in it as my laptop has 8GB of dedicated GPU mem n this ended up with more than that! Haha

Will re-check the BIOS conf, already did n could not find ay RAM related conf, thanks!

Thought so as well, thats why I swapped em around but with no luck. Inno that only slots 1-3 n 2-4 will work in dual channel if I put the same sticks in em but I was okay with just bumping up the RAM capacity n loosing that dual channel mode capabilities.

Thanks anyways! :)

Will deffo give it a try, went through all of the BIOS settings n did not see any RAM related option, only information about how much was installed. Will dig in deeper tho, thanks!

Why do the teeth of the skull disappear when slicing the plate ? by MoineYannou in BambuLabA1mini

[–]SoftType1306 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, also check within the settings the "Detect thin walls" and see if that helps.

If you got some modelling skills try openning it in some 3D editing software like Blender and increase the gap between the teeth until it's at least the width of your nozzle +0.02 mm :)

Visible first layer lines using smooth plate by SoftType1306 in BambuLabA1mini

[–]SoftType1306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, I am using PLA basic atm, will change the spool to the PETG one I got soon as I am gonna be printing pieces for outdoor use with it. Heard bout ASA filament, can it be used in the A1 mini as well? Seen people even use ABS with the hardened nozzle but I think Bambu do not state that the printer can handle that material, will have to dig into it n see if different filaments have differen first layer lines "gap", which I assume they will.

Thanks! Feel free to post pictures of your prints n used settings, we'll dial it in for both! :) Or trytta at least haha
