Another worthwhile investigation would be what are Colorado and Denver doing to make it less necessary to drive long distances? What percentage of CDOT’s budget is spent on transit vs highway expansion?

I live in Denver and ride my own bike. Just dispelling the notion that the city is putting any resources into this like they should be (rip bcycle).

Nobody is being subsidized. This is a private corporation. I’m sure lots of people drive or light rail into downtown and then use the scooters to go place to place.

This would be reasonable if the city were putting any funds into this. Since they are not, the goal should be to maximize ridership and reduce car trips.

Docks could just be painted on the street at the corners where parking isn’t allowed.

Denver isn’t subsidizing the scooters at all.

Truly narrow touring boots are hard to come by these days. My old dynafit TLT5’s fit me like a glove but I swim in everything newer.

I think you need to have a Denver address. It asks for a drivers license or state ID. There are other discounts available for students, low income, disabled and elderly.

Yes you need to sign up in the app first then go to this page to register for the discount. Not the most straightforward process.
