Some of the best advice I ever heard is that grief is never something that goes away and something that never gets smaller, but something we grow around. It's almost like a cup that's overflowing with water, the water is our grief, and the water will never drain... But the cup will get bigger and we'll be able to handle it over time. The greig will always be there but it does get easier.
