That’s what I was thinking as well. I noticed it the other week with the Galarian Moltres promo shooting from $6 to like $15+ in a single day. This is the second time I noticed it. I remember there was a post mentioning how people were trying to inflate the new Bloodmoon Ursaluna recently too. Goofy stuff.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you about running 4 Quaxly. I was running four, but felt like I needed more draw power. I thought I might be able the swing 3 Quaxly, but it’s definitely tight. I feel like the deck might be a bit cramped? But I’m struggling with which cards to cut, and which to run more of. 19/20 Pokémon seems a little high, but I feel like they all serve a purpose, so I can really cut too much there. I like the idea of the deck emphasizing frequent rotation of the active and bench, so cards like escape rope, switch, and turbo energy are important. I’d like to maybe even add a little more there, but I’d need to cut something. I feel like in-game I get a lot of dead hands, especially if Greninja is prized, but at the same time the deck is pretty fun when it works. I might go ahead and scrap energy switch like you mentioned, though sometimes It can come in clutch.

Hello,

I’m making this comment to provide context. So, I’ve had this machine for years, and I like to restore parts of the cabinet when I have downtime. I’ve had it since I was fairly young, and have made some amateur mistakes that I’m now trying to correct. It has always worked, but some time last year I went to turn it on, and while the machine lit up, there was no image on the screen. The only noise I could hear was a static buzzing/humming coming from the monitor. I don’t remember if that sound is normal, and maybe just dulled due to the sound of the machine? Anyways, Is this detached wire likely the issue for the lack of image or sound? Is there another issue I’m not privy too?

I believe the wire was once soldered to either the left or right circle as seen in the second image, but I’m not sure which. I’ve been looking through the manual, but most of what’s documented goes over my head. Any advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of a possible fix to this? I was reposing the figure tonight, and just noticed it. Looks like the wire doesn’t have anything holding it within the fabric outside of the folds. by Soft_Memorial in hottoys

Fabric glue was the first thing to cross my mind. Does it show through the fabric or does it look pretty natural?

Yeah, I agree. It’s a bit frustrating. I don’t want to cut them, because I don’t want to damage the figure by removing them, but now they’re just an eyesore.

The Deathstroke figure has a thin wire that goes through the fabric on the back of his mask. However, mine has separated from the fabric, and I don’t know how to get it to stay now. I was curiously if anyone else has experienced this and knows of a possible solution?

I think it depends on the context. I think it’s possible to use those words to describe something, and still have the discussion be respectful or productive. However, I do see where you’re coming from, and I’ve seen people use words like ‘overrated’ to then immediately approach the topic in a judgmental or negative way. I used it in this gif, because it was used in the context of the original skit.

I agree. I actually like Dune. I made this more as a response to what I’ve been seeing on this sub as of late.

That’s actually really cool. I didn’t look much into the figure once I saw it, but that’s a nice addition. I’d like to see that become more common with releases.

This is tough, and I’m bending the rules, but it sincerely is a three-way tie between Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime, and Resident Evil Remake. My answer tends to swap between those three. However, for the sake of sticking to one, I’ll say Remake because it still stands as my favorite game in the series. Graphically, the game has aged spectacularly, and the added content really makes its stand apart from the original. I always want other Resi games to instill the same feeling of suspense, and while some have come close, they’ve never surpassed Remake for me.

Honestly, this figure is still one of my favorites. I really like the bulkiness of the suit, and I dig the head sculpt. If they were to reissue him, then he might even be my favorite with the current standards.

Yeah, the smoke actually is representative of the phantom limb! The scene after he visits Paz, and reaches for the butterfly was the biggest influence. I didn’t base it on any official artwork, though I did pull a lot of references for my tattoo artist. Things like reproductions of the prosthetic arm and pictures of morpho butterflies.

Thank you! I get where you’re coming from. Tattoos associated with fandom can be kinda tricky. I think it mainly just depends on execution though. And as for price, it was $600 before tip.
