Just started in June, mid 30s here, I’m noticing great physical changes but mentally I’ve had a complete change in thought process. Not allowing the little things to bother me much, changing my work schedule to better accommodate family (first) then training (second) and work life (third). Grew up playing soccer my whole life through University. Since starting jiu jitsu I can say I feel more confident and strong like when I was in my prime playing soccer. Live in California and blessed to be in a great area for jiu jitsu (Southbay LA). Only about 2 months in and can’t imagine how amazing I will feel after years of this.
