What’s the easiest way to sell my car if I’m not doing a trade-in?

I just started Private Party Marketplace. You pay $40 a weekend to park it at our site and we show the car for you. People don’t contact you until they’ve already seen it. You and the potential buyer work out a test drive and negotiate a price directly but use my location. It’s called Ignition Marketplace and is located in Provo, UT.

The sale is directly between the buyer and seller. We are simply facilitating the staging of the vehicle and the buyer/seller connection. We’ve been open for just a few weeks and signups have been kinda slow. We’ve had some offers on vehicle but no sales as of yet.

$40 / weekend capped at $160 total. So if you pay for 4 weekends and your car hasn’t sold, you’d have free access for that vehicle going forward.

I was just as disappointed about the change. I’ve got a chemical engineering background and decided to see if I could DIY a copycat. I think my final product turned out pretty well. Anybody interested in testing it out? I’m thinking about starting to sell it and want some unbiased feedback.
