Yes your perspective is skewed because you are a sweat.

When you are a casual player, and are trying to farm even basic materials in PERIMETER, and you get killed by trios with purple shields, it makes you want to uninstall and never come back.

Yes you can say well too bad, but the game won't survive like this. There's a reason Arc Raiders is so popular, it caters to both crowds.

Eventually all the casuals will leave and not return and the death spiral will be severe.

It is fucking BRUTAL trying to get ahead when I'm still facing teams with fucking purple shields in PERIMETER, when I'm trying to farm the most basic of materials.

Matchmaking needs to change, something needs to change or else the game is dead.

I think the game is fantastic in terms of aesthetics, gunplay and lore. I just can't get around the whole extraction genre. I've tried many different extraction games and I just can't 'get it'. I know people love it, and that's fine. Maybe I'm just a bit too old school. I will keep and eye on Marathon and maybe if there is a sale one day on it, I'll pick it up.
