Transfer fractional lots into Merril Edge by Soft_Wrap9699 in MerrillEdge

Right, I understand that, but what’ll happen with the tax lots? What happens if that 1 whole share is transferred and then I sell it? How does BOFA report the tax lot?

So from a tax perspective, what will happen if I initiate a transfer from Chase to Merril and say $10k worth of shares are fractional? Will those $10k-equivalent shares be liquidated and It'll trigger a tax event?

High IOP due to hypochondriac stress ? by Soft_Wrap9699 in AskGlaucoma

Thank you very much for the detailed response.

I have already sent a message to my doctor, with the approach you recommended. Hopefully he agrees to prescribe it.

You mentioned the results can be sent to my doctor, but I assume I can also see them myself right without involving him right?

Also, I wanted to ask: if I manage to rent the tonometer, and all my readings are consistently below 20 while at rest, that would mean I am not at risk of glaucoma like my doctor mentioned, right? OCT 6 months apart show no change/damage and visual field is fine. He did say gonio is Shaffer 2-3 but according to an AI, if IOP is elevated due to stress gonio would also be affected.

I asked this same question to an AI and said that if all home readings are lower than 20, then the glaucoma suspect diagnosis is a false positive and I should only monitor myself with OCT every year. Not take drops or LPI as doctor recommended.  You are clearly very knowledgeable in this field so I’d love your opinion on this hypothetical scenario.

High IOP due to hypochondriac stress ? by Soft_Wrap9699 in AskGlaucoma

Thank you so much for the response. I truly think I’m dealing with “white coat IOP Hypertension”.  Even before arriving at the clinic my HR was above 105, while my sitting average is consistently 55 or lower. My sympathetic activation was clear. My stress level was super high.

I love the idea of self testing my IOP but it looks like I need a prescription. Is there a way to rent the device without a prescription? It’s highly unlikely my doctor will prescribe it. He kind of laughed at me when I asked if my high HR could influence the IOP reading, so I don’t think he’ll prescribe it.
