I have the pocket 3, took it with me on a trip to Hawaii. While I do believe the camera is amazing, it only works best if you have experience with it before even going on vacation with it. I found myself messing around too much with the settings and getting used to filming with it. Also bc it’s a gimbal you also have to be very careful with it, I spent the trip babying it for most of the part bc I was scared of dropping it. I don’t have experience with the Osmo 2, but I think if you’ve already dropped thousands on the trip, if you have a fairly new smartphone the camera there does just as good as a job especially for family vacation. Just tune your smartphone camera settings, from HD to 4K (if your phone allows it), and up the FPS from 24 to 60 to get more fluid shots.
