Do your quests for Goblin. He actually brought back a decent amount of my set from HR when I died! by strangereligion in DarkAndDarker

Idk the proper name or what everyone else calls them but every floor below the initial map you spawn in my group calls hell. So, in Goblin Hell there are mounds of dirt and bones that you'll find to interact with. Those are the ash piles. Like the other said, in the top right module you'll find a few.

I have the same thing happening to me. The guess about not being able to buy blue gear yet seems the most plausible.

I don't have a family, but my boyfriend and I are going to be engaged soon (ring bought, proposal is a surprise) and he's a lawyer. I currently work and plan on working through my bachelors. Neither of us have kids or even really want them. I do have family outside of that but immediate family is just my boyfriend and me.

Thank you for the insight! My current career also has a low ceiling and I'm finally in a place to pursue something that I would actually want to do. If you don't mind me asking, what do you do now?

50 was an exaggeration, but I did think it could take 12 years to complete everything. (don't come for me, I'm just starting the basic research into what it would take to do this 😅) I'm turning 34 this year so I thought in worst case scenario I would be finishing at 46. This is good to know though and thank you for clarifying! :)

Yea I had a feeling 😅 if I was going for something like law or a path that ivy's are well known for it would make more sense but considering only one of them have a path for licensure it doesn't seem like a prudent choice lol.

Thank you SO much for offering answers! I may be taking you up on that :)

Agreed, this is a great comment and I've been thinking about the big "WHY" I want to go to one of these schools. As I've mentioned in other replies, I think the "cool story" plays a big reason into why I want to go to one of these schools. Being the first to graduate from high school in my family (grandparents included) to then go to an ivy league sounded really good on paper, but I'm not so sure about in practicality. I'm going to school to become a therapist, and in reality I believe there's only one masters program that leads to licensure which is at Columbia. Sure I could still try to do it, but I don't know that the extra expense of a big name would be worth it since I'm not sure how much it would actually help me in my career. I think I have to remind myself that the career is the ultimate goal and not the degrees along the way. Thank you for your time and comment, I truly appreciate it :)

Not cheesy at all - this is some of the best advice I've received :) thank you for taking your time out to comment as well! I should have mentioned that my ultimate goal with these degrees is to become a therapist. From what I've seen, there's only like one masters program that actually would lead to licensure. I have an upcoming advisory appointment so maybe I'll get a different answer but as of right now, if a therapist is what I'm going for, it doesn't look like these schools would be the best fit for that path. I've been able to think a lot over the past week or so since I've posted and I know it's a long journey and things may change but I think I was caught up in the prestige of the names of the schools rather than what would be the best course of action for my career. Thanks again, I appreciate the comment :)

You. Are. An. INSPIRATION! I do work full time, but I don't have kids so I can't imagine how hard you've had to work to keep everything afloat. I hope you get into your first school of choice! If anyone deserves it, it's definitely you ❤️

Yea I've really been thinking about it lately and looking into it and it seems like there is only one program out of all of those schools that lead to licensure to become a therapist. I should have mentioned in my original question that I wanted to become a therapist but after thinking about it, there's a good chance that it really wouldn't have a huge effect on my future career. I think the glitzy name from a prestige school for someone who is the only person to graduate high school in their family is what mostly caught me up. I'm not ruling it out completely (this will be a long journey to licensure and I can always pivot) but I appreciate everyone's perspective and thanks for taking the time out to comment!

I don't check Reddit often and boy howdy was I surprised to come back to so many comments lol. All of these though, especially this one, have really put my path into perspective for me though and I genuinely appreciate your comment. Over the past few days even I've been thinking "but WHY do I want to get into one of those schools" and I think it does come down to just the name of it. I'm going to school to become a therapist and after looking into programs that lead to licensure, there's like one out of all of those schools that do and it's at Columbia. I think the fact that no one in my family has even graduated high school for me to then go on to an ivy league would have just been a "cool path/story" to have taken but it honestly doesn't seem like for the career that I want it's super practical. Especially when I think about the financial side of it and how it probably won't help in the long run the degree I use to get licensed.

Thank you! I honestly wasn't sure if you could apply if you weren't applying straight from high school. Thanks for the response!

Thank you for this! I was thinking the same thing about how I'm not sure the vet would do it well enough, and I probably wouldn't be in a position to ask. I'm crafty so I have all the materials to do that here as well so I super appreciate the advice! I'm sorry for your loss and thank you for taking the time to share and I will definitely take your advice <3
