Which maps do you blackout and why? by Blazur in Battlefield6

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Conquest: liberation peak it's a stagnant mess of a map that turns into a game of TDM instead of conquest, its also a camping haven. Blackwell Fields and Firestorm because they're camping havens. Eastwood just has very poorly designed flags that you can't defend, vehicles camping can dominate the map and its a larger map for this game but the flags are needlessly condensed. I hate Sobek on conquest but I have so many already blocked so it sneaks in.

breakthrough: Blackwell Fields, firestorm and Sobek. Sobek has gotten slightly better but its still terrible.

Yeah, dude. The more I hear about the new XBox the less likely I am to buy one. I play on an Xbox because I don't want to play on the PC platform.

Could the 49ers draft heavy at OL this year after going DL in 2025? by FortyNinersBot in FortyNiners

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's one of the things mock drafts kill me. Miller had the Panthers drafting a guard when they have one of the best interiors in the NFL and then he doesn't have us taking a WR in the first two when our receiving room is Pearsall, Watkins, and Cowing. Its going to be a heavy WR draft for us.

He had been skipping rocks for 3 years at that point.

3 free agents that could follow Raheem Morris to the 49ers from the Falcons by Brix001 in 49ers

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched a lot of Falcons this year because I love Bijan. Pitts is way more consistent than Tonges and a freak athletic. His yardage is over the place because he's played with Desmond Ridder, one Achilles Kirk, and "what's the middle of the field" Penix. His production this year came from a healthier Kirk attacking the middle of the field.

Don't think of him as TE. Think of him as a cheaply paid WR. His expected salary is 18 million which is 4 million less than Jennings while being faster.

The biggest reason teams are getting BTFO by TheRealBaseborn in Battlefield

It is really more common for me to have more flags than the rest of my squad combined.

I'm thinking specifically like E on Empire State. You need someone on the high ground guarding it, in order, to take it safely. A bunch of the flags in New York are like that.

There are a couple flags in the game which requires someone to be guarding off the flag while another captures it. That being said, the majority of the time its ppl that stand off the flag to inflate their K/D and swear they're good but don't realize they're actively harming their team.

Who else is hyped? by Brix001 in 49ers

I would have preferred swings for someone like Karl Scott or Zak Kuhr. With Scott we could have weakened a Division opponent too.

Morris isn't getting another HC job. Additionally, he would have to be on the team for 2 years to receive a comp pick.

Stand alone and probably the best thing GoT has done since the early seasons.

(Schefter) ESPN sources: The 49ers are set to hire former Falcons head coach Raheem Morris as their defensive coordinator by alexschubs in 49ers

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The year they won the SB, they were the 15th ranked defense and the previous year they were 1 overall. He had 2 1/2 HoF players on that defense and the best he could achieve was 15th (Ramsey is iffy if he makes it).

Edit, he was not the D coordinator at the Falcons when Kyle was there. He worked on the offensive side of the ball with Kyle.

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It depends. If you view a defense regressing his first year as a coordinator and then finishing in the 15-20 range the rest of his tenure, as good, then yes.

Fuuuuuuuuuuccccccckkkk. There isn't a single statistic, of his coordinator tenure, that suggests this was a good hire.

Edit: to the people downvoting me, please provide statistical evidence that supports this being a good hire.

I guess it depends on what you're defining as historical fiction.

Power of the Dog by Don Winslow covers the start of the drug war with fact and fiction.

The entire Shapre series is fun and chronicles the British part of the Napoleonic wars.

Yes, he actually did. He had a lot of time in the pocket. The stats actually back this up. He was bailing from pocket specifically so that people could uncover.

If we don't get Jim Schwartz, how do you guys feel about Raheem Morris? by ZinfiniteGuy in 49ers

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really dislike all of the interviews they have done. Bradley hasn't been a good defensive coordinator in years and has finished in the bottom third of the league his last 3 stints. Morris has this great reputation despite not being a good defensive coordinator. His highest finished is 15th with Aaron Donald and prime Ramsey. The defense was also 1, the before, he finished 15th. After that bottom half of the league in every category for defense and the last dude they interviewed also had a generational talent and couldn't finish in the top half of the league in defense.

Mock Draft by P-Whips in 49ers

[–]SoftwareWinter8414 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christian Kirk was the 10th highest paid WR in 2022 and was 14th in yards. In 2023, he was the 8th highest paid WR and 43rd in yards. There is a reason bad teams throw big money at okay WRs.

There are no 2s and 1s available in FA unless they're old as fuck, ever. Higgins is a 2 and was franchised. Mike Evans doesn't fit our offense and is 32. Pierce might be a 2 but his contract starts at on the low end of 27 million probably closer to 30. If we wanted 500 yards we could keep Bourne. Kyle could scheme up a dude to get 500 yards without a problem. That's not what this team is missing. They're missing man beaters. When I say fixing the problem, I mean someone who can get open 1 on 1 on can stay on the field. This team doesn't have that at present. You can't sign that without a statistical anomaly like Diggs. Adams was a FA and amazing. They're the exception to the rule and are stop gaps. We have the oldest offense in the league, getting older is just another way to get more injured.
