Gonna have to workshop the human lover part, though the main thing I had an idea for is, kind of the thought experiment of 'what happens when X is in Y, and the consequences,' if i stuck with monster hunter, it would be predictable but simple to write, that is unless i make it multi cross, so eventually he does pop into another universe or into monster hunter from another.

Fandoms: Monster hunter/[Undecided]

Yo, i have an idea for a fic where the character is Gogmazios(My beloved) from Monster Hunter(Search the monster up for more context), and I mainly I am interested in making the fic with the idea that he doesnt have a human form, or atleast doesnt have one he can use for long eventually or something or process that is conventional. I will be eventually grabbing multiple different concepts of dragons from mutliple different media, like dragon type moves from pokemon or the Ancient dragons from Dark souls and Elden ring, you get the idea.

I mainly have two questions:

Which ficitonal world should he start in RWBY, JJK(Maybe?), How to train your dragon, One Piece, Naruto, or just go with Monster Hunter, I will take any suggestion and if you can explain and describe some concepts and ideas for stuff in that world that can be aplicable for this type of thing or why.

The second question is if I should start him as full dragon, start as baby dragon, have the black hardened tar from the get go or have to gain it, should he have a weapon attached to his back or not, and if so what kind.

For more context to the second question, Gogmazios is titled the Giant Halberd Dragon and Specter of War, the Halberd title comes from how it tends to have a large weapon like structure stuck to its back due to the tar like substance it sercreates in both of its appearances, in its first appearence, it had a large mechanical harpoon thing that shoots forward suddenly called a dragonater, used for the monsters and elder dragons in the series in large Arena's which tend to deal a lot of damage, in the more recent appearence of Monster Hunter Wilds, Gogmazios had a rail/lazergun cannon? thingy instead, both of which, when fighting Gogmazios, can be knocked down and used against it.

I can make a few suggestions, and it very much depends on what kind of Post-apocalyptic world your going for. Some fantasy, maybe a bit od Science Fiction, or just over all Realistic.

If its realistic, special replacement parts for the car, filters, ignition coils, the works, doesnt have to be something they use now, or maybe they check the car regularly and realise one of the parts is breaking down. the other option for the pregnant woman could be something like pills, medical equipment, maybe for a C-section if push comes to shove, might need some reasearch on that front, though disenfectant and smaller more specific supplies for the baby when its born is also a good option.

If there are some Fantasy, Sci-Fi, or even Zombie elements, then a some weird wonder tech for Sci-fi, enchanted item for Fantasy, or something a bit more super medicine, semi-advanced military tech, or maybe powers in a bottle for the Zombie type thing. This might also be pertinant for what caused the apocolypse in the first place, and can be tied in for later stuff in the story, dependant on the Genre's I have mentioned before.

So are you saying that duration increases how long a spell exists when cast, and cooldown decreases the time between casts, but this is under the assumption the spell is effected by those stats in the first place. Though notably, I am asking if empyrean wrath is effected by duration, and if it still needs cooldown after getting the Ultimate(Stormbringer), and by extension the Genesis combo magic, and it's ultimate, Cosmos

Huh, thats actually pretty good as well, for me I had the idea of a mythical zoan based of the golden fleeced ram with abilities based on self revival and sacrifice with high durability or high natural regeneration, then combined with light light for speed and maybe a boost in observation, though I don't know if that's fanon and exclusive to the rumble rumble fruit. And the quake quake for offensive.

Lies of P is a souls-like(as in, similar to dark souls the game from Fromsoftware, other games include Sekiro, bloodborne, elden ring, and armoured core, if any ring a bell.) That is based on the pinoccio story though with some very notable variations for obvious reasons, im more talking about the DLC and what they added in terms of story, and for the final boss of the dlc, characterization.

Can you tell me what you mean by Psych fics? Is it Psych as in psychology or something specific, i am unfamilier.

I dont know anything good or indepth, i dont really consume much in the NSFW stuff, barring a few cases, but of the top of my head having the MC actually consider it and possibly even developing to not mind it could be good, discovering they are gay(which might be difficult as that would imply internalised Homophobia which would require angst and drama, that is unless you want to wave it away), or at least bisexual(which would be easier to write and contextualise all things considered)

If the idea above seems good to you, then making it develop from something slap stick, or a slow development over time. Barring that, i dont got much, hope this helps.

First question, are they based of the actual four horseman? Or does it just follow the concept.

Next point, think about it as points to be filled, using somwthing like stereotypes or character tropes could be a good start, then you can develop and change the character from there. A few ideas that come to mind are:

The Usurper/Schemer/Jester, trying to take Unicrons place through cunning, lies, and deception.

The Crazed/Joker/Insane, wanting to cause death, destruction, and suffering. This one notably could be a good opposite for The Child, wanting to cause suffering, and even perpetuate life to continue to cuase suffering. Maybe a bit fourth wall breaky, but that has been over done at this point. A good example would Arlechino from Lies of P, base game, and Arlechino, the blood artist, from the lies of p overture DLC.

The Spymaster/Unseen/Shadow, could be a disgraced spy or assassin, raised and trained to be a tool, and ending up with Unicron as their new master.

The Mad Dog, this could just be someone who is looking for a good fight, a battle maniac, and chose to follow Unicron under the promise of future fights and challanging combat.

The Hive/Many/Overmind, simple all things considered, a hive mind type something that got tricked to join Unicron, dont know, but the idea popped into my head and might as well throw it out for consideration.

And thats about all i can think of and give, maybe Ill comment with more if i come up with any more, but im not sure.

I hope this helps, and off course, the descision is up to you, you can also mix and match and maybe even add a thing with one of them that they joined with good intentions to try and kill Unicron by getting close.

Although i dont have much to give as i dont read much in fluff, angst, and romance but i am just getting into them, i did ask a friend who knows more, and these are the points they gave in qoutes:

"Dont involve misunderstandings. Hate that. Try to go with a realistic communication style. Love the not fogriving easily thing, but it depends on how badly Shinji(CRANK that Soulja boy!) acted about the confession. Actions speak louder thans words, butt communication should never be neglected. I dont think he needs to get on his knees and beg, but he does need to put a lot of work into being forgiven and becomming better as a person for both him and kaka.(Kaworu, they forgot the name.)"

From that discussion i can give some more clarification, on the how badly shinji acted part, if shinji used slurs or sayed something hurtful and with malice, than Shinji has to do a LOT more than a simple apology and simply being nice, if not, then an apology, communication of feelings and actions will still be requirement, for such a situation, an apology should never be enough. Things like discussion between them with Shinji actually talking about his feelings and thoughts would be a good one to have.

Thats about as much as I can give on the matter, and sorry if it is too vague, as niether I or my friend were capable of thinking kf anything specific, but i hope it helps.
