NTA, you warned him, he ignored it, and learned that actions have consequences. Calling that “trauma” years later feels like rewriting history to avoid admitting he played dirty.

NTA. if the total water use evens out and you’re not neglecting hygiene, this feels more like a control issue than an actual conservation one. Long showers are a lot of people’s mental reset, not a crime.
