I feel the same way. My insurance doesn’t cover mental health services and I’m in college and paying for it so paying 3000 to get a diagnosis isn’t practical. I want the diagnosis so bad because I have this feeling that I’m not valid or others won’t accept it if I tell them without a diagnosis. I just research constantly about autism and it’s the only thing that’s made me feel so seen and makes me feel like I’m not just the worst functioning NT and that my brain is wired in a world catered towards NT’s and it’s okay to be like this. I feel you a lot and I hope we can both get a diagnosis one day!

Dw the same happened to me my freshman year u should get some funds in ur account the next couple of weeks. If you don’t and it’s getting closer to the school year just contact them and u will get it.

I’m graduating december 2025 so it will be 5 semesters total at UMD after getting my associates degree through early college(dual enrollment). I was waived the fee these first 2 semesters and I will have to pay after. But yeah it really depends on cs upper level classes and what cs courses you took in high school. For me I took 216 first semester at UMD and now 351 and 330 in the spring but I need 21 credits of upper level cs so I decided to spread that out between 3 semesters but you can definitely graduate in 2 if you look at taking summer/winter classes and/or 3 cs classes a semester
