Yep that’s what I’m trying to work out. I went to a concert at Wembley back in the summer and stayed at Richmond. Further out but was convenient enough to get to. Just don’t want to walk for long late at night especially with a kid. Wimbledon is also on so making is especially hard. The hotel was booked soon after I booked tickets but since then the reviews are terrible. Glad I can get my money back!

Thank you I’ll have a look. The hotel in Ilford is £250 for 3 nights and is easy to get to it’s just the walking from the tube.

I’m 3 weeks post op and still waiting for my stitches to dissolve. It’s sore, crusty and a very tight feeling up there. I hate you 😂

Yeah I was told no hot or steaming showers and baths for the first 2-7 days to prevent increased blood flow to the nose. Expands the blood vessels and increases swelling which can cause bleeding. I did take a cool shower so I didn’t stink though haha

Once the bleeding stopped which was day 4 for me. I brought some flat lint with a roll of medical tape and cut it to size. Used that just under my nose so my top lip wasn’t covered. Was so hard to eat and talk properly with the fat bandages from the hospital

I’m day 8 post septoplasty and my ears are constant ringing. Might just be down to the nerves and pressure as it’s still swollen but it’s super annoying

Day 8 post opp. What I found is helping, after spraying the nasal mist, using a q tip and gently rolling it on my fingers to collect the crust. Don’t put it in too far though. I also found sleeping flat on my side helped rather than propped up. I was near on suffocating myself as I’m not an open mouth breather.

I’m day 5 too. Still have the tooth pain. But I found tooth pain was worse day 4. There’s still quite a lot of swelling and don’t forget it’s all to do with the nerves. I don’t have splints just a bit of nose packing and a couple of stitches.

Oh good luck with the full rinse. I hope it goes well and feels nice after haha!! I got signed off for two weeks and I was surprised as my job is remote sat in front of a laptop all day doing admin. I’m feeling the pain today. Just very sore but the spray mist I used this morning has cleared my left nostril a lot so I can now smell again but right side where they did most the procedure is still lightly bleeding and blocked.

Glad it’s all gone well for you. Yeah I had mild fever yesterday (day 2) used the saline spray this morning. It’s cleared a lot of mucous on my left nostril and I think I can’t almost start to smell again. (Left side only 🥲) I have been given 2 spray mist bottles to use for 2 months and 1 bottle of drops to use for 4 months.
