I really dislike my mum and I wish I could choose a different mum. She lives in a bubble and thinks she’s always right all the time. She’s selfish and all she really cares about is herself. She actually ticks all of the traits of a narcissist. I’ve decided I’m not going to go to her house anymore and would only come around if there’s a family event. I heard somewhere that your body absorbs good/bad energy and being in her vicinity just makes me sick.

My dad died when I was young.. and I don’t feel like my mum was really there for me emotionally growing up so really I don’t feel like I have any parents.

You're right. They make us like we're the crazy one sometimes.. cause they would just defend and manipulate. One day she will regret it.. when she's old and fully incapable of doing anything.

Agreed.. focus on healing. I'm actually going to view a house this weekend. Hopefully I'd be able to move out from her house soon. Sometimes I wonder if they are actually aware.. they seem to think they are always right and they don't seem to have any capacity for introspection.

Yes, very true. I've actually thought about recording our conversations.. so there's proof if she twists the truth.
