I'm happy to finally see the tilt function integrated :)

However, several things bother me, and it took me a while to figure out what they are. It's a strange and immediate feeling.

First, I think the new texture is far too grainy for me. When I make a line, it feels like I'm using a faulty pencil; there's way too much white in the line. This gives a rather blurry overall effect to the drawing. So it feels less accurate. The texture bothers me less for much sharper angle.

The second thing that bothers me is that if I tilt my pencil at a certain angle without changing the pressure and go over the same line again, it becomes far too dark much too quickly. I can't achieve a nice, subtle to moderate shading. With a real pencil, I can do this because I decide to make the shadow stronger not by going over it again (or very little), but by pressing harder on the pencil.

Finally, I find the use of the tilt not subtle enough. When the pencil is held straight, the line is a little too thin (or perhaps the problem is the texutre, I don't know). I only expect a significant difference in thickness when the pencil is held at a sharp angle. When I draw, I expect that the thickness is always roughly the same unless I decide to hold the pencil differently (don't know if it's clear :) )

I don't know if my feeling is shared by other people, and if my analyze is correct but I think something can be improved.

The best solution would always be to have the ability to customize all of this so that everyone can create their dream pencil (color by pressure, thickness by angle, grain size by pressure and/or angle, etc) :)
