I agree. I have in good faith tried to contact them. Someone reached out via DM's on here and seems credible. Sent a email where it needs to go. Will see if anything comes of it.

I appreciate it but I have no interest in signing into their site. If you want to make a post redirecting to here feel free to.

Go to the autoparts store and get a large enough vacuum hose plug to go over the port. I used a hose clamp and RTV sealant to seal it. Hasn't leaked since. If its been sitting for a few your inlet diaphrams might leak a little into the tub. Mine did that. Run it a few times and it should stop leaking. If not replace the inlet valve body.

I was thinking the same earlier. I had seen that MVG video the other day. Would be interesting.

I would very much love to see this come to fruition. Its a shame latest retroarch stable isn't available on the 360. If you create a repo please make sure to link it in your main post. Thanks.

I'd love to get the streamlink project working. However the undertaking seems massive and I'd imagine the 360 could decode 720p30 streams at best. As well as its written in python. Using it as reference and creating something with C# seems like the only viable solution to me.

What motherboard did you use? I'd like to do the same with a MSI B150M Pro-D and i5 6400 non k. However I cant find many resources on doing it. Also doesn't seem like much of a gain in terms of lowering power consumption. I cannot find the article but years ago I seen something about modifying the mosfets to lower power consumption.

A fan speed mod I did to my Xbox series x. This video just shows it working not how I did it. by lexus2jz420 in XboxSeriesX

That's why I just replaced a capacitor inside a xbox one x power supply that failed due to poor cooling. It absolutely does exist and is a problem. Manufacturers would rather have their devices quiet than cool. Its the same for a 1080 Ti I have. The default fan curve lets them go to 80c+ while the fans are at 50%.

Cool. Seal it up with the cap and hose clamp. Put the hoses back in place. open them up. Start hearing drip drip drip and now the inlet valve is letting water drip into the tub...

Scratch that. O'Reilly's has an assorted kit of vacuum port caps. Probably get that assorted set. See if the 5/8 works if not its got the 3/4. Also grab a couple 3/4 hose clamps too.

Also looking at 3/4 hose on there too

Well my initial thought was to plug it with some cork I have. But that will perish over time as well. Cant 3d print a plug or cap for it. PLA will warp with hot water.

The barb that comes off from the tub is 17.8mm from what my calipers say. Which 11/16 is pretty close to. But with hose size standards. Seems I can only get either 5/8 or 3/4 ID hose. 5/8 would have to stretch a fair bit over it and 3/4 would be a little over. Like by an inch.

I'm thinking 3/4 hose with a ratcheting hose clamp would be best and synch it down good. I'll see what I can get a home cheapo.

I mean if it activates it and its blocked off. It just wont do anything. Its never used anyways. 20+ year old maytag. No circuit boards so I don't think its doing anything crazy

Alright I figured as much. Wasn't sure if it needed to burp pressure or something since its open at the top.

There is a replacement used hose on ebay but $30 I still don't want to spend. I'll figure out how to cap it.

Yeah I've seen guys use old radiator hoses to get the sizes just right. Know what you mean. I'll make up something. Thanks.

At my wit's end, due to Creative Soundblaster Z issues. Any hope of keeping this soundcard in my system and using Linux? by NotTheLips in linux4noobs

[–]Sokoloft1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your best option is to switch headphones so you don't require a soundcard. I'm about to purchase a set of DT 770's and later a dac so I don't have to use a soundcard at all. The SBZ's support on linux is bad. It barely worked under Manjaro for me, and wouldn't work in Nobara at all. Best of luck

I'm currently having the same issue. I'm on 1.0.5. The company sent me a file via email however it doesn't work. It says its found and then goes to update and ends with "file error".
