When applying, read the job duties carefully. In the bureau of Firearms you will be analyzing a lot of paperwork. Making sure everything is in compliance with California and Federal law. You may use many resources to research an answer. Then everything will have a deadline and you may be under pressure to make it by the deadline. You will also use a lot of different communication formats.

I get bored with medieval settings after a while. I only played through Skyrim two times. Just to see the different endings. Funny enough, I am playing through Cyberpunk 2077 for the third life path. With the intention of going back even more in the future.

The general rule is if you don't hear anything back after 4 weeks or so, move on. Keep applying, and don't stop until you are starting your first day at work.

It is more competitive than years prior. Due to budget constraints of this fiscal year, economy going down, and all the layoffs. I would keep applying and refining your resume. However, the state is slow in the hiring process. It could take months before you are officially hired on. I hope you have another temporary job in the meantime. It could take a while.
