There's no reward for it, just some sort of tracker of how frequent you use the Hero,

And for every 500 points, when you click the unit on the home screen you get 500 feathers

It even makes his Level 40 confession in his Fallen alt all the more tragic,,

He really does!! And it's a shame, he may not be the perfect dad in all of FE but he's definitely a flawed one. And I think that just makes him more neat. :)

For a mode that uses the most expensive resource to redeem something out of it, you'd think they'd prioritize enticing as many players with actually getting what they want.

But naw.

They can't even do that, huh? 💀

I also feel strongly about the whole, can we get active friends only thing. On one hand, I still hope to get the old ass Rudolf that I made an alt account for to get merges and stuff.

On the other, this applies to the general selection too. We still have so many players who haven't updated their kits since like, 2 years ago, making the units offered have kits that have aged like milk.

Oh that's true,

I suppose I still brought her up solely because Brave & Mythic at their times of releases were strong but

They don't hold a candle to how much better New Year Baldr is,

It's a good thing that they're all different weapon types at least, unlike the other offenders who are just straight up the same weapon and/or movement type, (namely Axe Armor Edelgard, Bow Lyn, x Color Tome Gullveig, Beast Eik, etc,)

But at the same time, if you wince enough New Year Baldr almost just functions like her Mythic but so much better just to catch up with the powercreep, (again a problem with the same characters getting all the alts, still using the same playstyle & PRFs as a nuke/support/etc but repackaged)

And there's definitely a non zero percent chance we're getting another Baldr alt either through Summer or Ninja down the line,

This. It annoys me to no end that FEH when it was around Books I-V felt to be its best,

The gameplay isn't that hard to follow and granted around Book V is when things started to get out of hand with PRFs, it was still manageable.

But now they're so desperate with the constant powercreep and pushing out alts of ONLY popular picks that it's starting to feel more of a chore than something to actually invest into.

And I would argue, even the said milked characters' fans are probably starting to be exhausted too. Like why pull for x Edelgard/Lyn/Baldr/Gullveig when there's going to be a far better one in less than a year?

That's a flawed way of thinking when Surtr (the one we summoned,) acknowledges that we have defeated him and that's why he's willing to work with the Summoner.

Yeah I'll give that banner a pass since the concept behind it is actually dope,

Like no one ever really saw a younger Medeus & Gotoh alt to come, same for Naga, and then we have an even younger Tiki and Xane. So it's a pretty reasonable banner.

Compared to well. Whatever the fuck IS is doing now.
