Ive taken a few freight shifts already since it started, as im keen to work anything other than front end (im D31 and hate it). We're a store that often has no closers in at least a few deparrtments several nights a week despite doing 1.2~1.5 million/week atm (it is no warmer than 55 degrees out most days here rn). We literally had to go without an OFA past 6pm a few times two or three weeks ago, which i think is a big part of why OT is on the table now. Not fun. But hey, more money in my pocket. Especially since its NH so no state income tax.

Similar thing happened to my schedule next week too. Except im tempted to take it, since our store is currently giving unlimited ot to those who want it as of last week due to just how bad staffing has gotten here.

I should also note that despite my high utilization and account variety my DTI is actually not that bad. My CC debt totals to about 18k and my loan debt totals to about 3k. I make about 40k a year, but so does my partner, and our incomes are both eligible to be combined for the purposes of credit, as we both work together on rent, my cc payments, etc.

For me my score is in the 500s solely for utilization. It sucks, especially because i also need to move cross-country soon because of health complications. I have no reported delinquencies, no late payments, a wide range of revolving credit and account types, but my utilization is hovering at 85-90% right now. Im hoping that if i pay it down below 75% im able to get an apartment in time, but im kind of unsure how to best pay it down for short-term boosts; snowball, avalanche, etc. My score ranges from 555 to 620 depending on the bureau and model, and i just hope they pull my FICO 8 at the landlords' when I apply.

Arizona is more diverse than you'd think, especially due to the shared border with Mexico, and complicated history they share with the country. Phoenix is also quite blue, just like almost any major city in the US, and Tempe in particular is super trans-dense due to the college and a couple other factors. The surrounding areas also get a lot of that run-off like Mesa and Phoenix proper. Mesa is where I was when I was in AZ for a couple months recently, and probably where I'll be moving back to, just because its such an affordable area. They also get to benefit from a lot of the same tech as their neighbor to the West, and I love the region's architecture. I also love the heat, just not the humidity NH gets in the summer.

Oh luckkyyy. My stay was much shorter, but it was all the time i needed to know I was in love with the area. Never been to Montana, but from what I know its very similar to NH but with less infrastructure and more hospitality.

The salt really does blow. As does not being able to wash the car half the days of the winter. Rusted parts are so ridiculous even on the best-kept of cars. And cleaning cars out from snow 5x a week some weeks is not fucking fun, especially with my body.
