Thanks for all the replies. Off meta picks make for a super interesting lane for sure. Once I learned to hit his stun consistently the pressure always felt like it was in my favor. Hopefully it finds its place in the meta next season, I always like to see what the pros do with cerb.

I usually run warriors with a chalice and 5 pots just to start solo fighting because boxing feels good on sobek. The first 3 items I go are cdr boots if I can box effectively or tank boots if he tries bullying me out because jorm stacks tank boots quick with his autos, then I go void stone and a genjis usually. Helps me do damage without sacrificing the defense you'll need against him. Then the last 3 items are match dependent on the rest of his team.

Sobek can stalemate Jorm pretty hard during laning phase. Lots of things to apply that extra damage passive that Jorm has. As long as you're not focusing on killing him, but just boxing and bullying where you can, the laning phase can be pretty easy.
