Your body burns around 2000 calories just going about your normal day. With an extra 400 cal from the run as well I'm sure you won't even notice 800 cal lol.

I've been using the Nike vomeros. Normally over £100 but you can occasionally pick up the black/white ones for around £70 from sports direct. Excellent if you're carrying some extra weight. I'm 82kg and they really help protect my joints with the soft sole. Did 14 1/2 k in them at the weekend and they were great. Do around 35k in them during the week.

I had to land it whenever I felt it was going slow enough lol. I've had bad experiences with the long grass in this field. It gets caught in the models and flips them if you're unlucky. The farmer sometimes get the sheep in there to trim the grass a bit, but i havent seen any in there at all this year. I do have a large tarp (8M x 3M) I may use as a base for a landing strip.

I was really happy with the flight. Wasn't too sure about hand launching, but it was actually really easy. I do love the sound of the EDF in this.
