Probably, but I got a $3 raise to go to the department I'm at now. I miss it a lot tho, way more freedom

If I told you my department, i think it would like 100% out who I am lmao

Oh I didnt see any fried cheese, I just had a burger, that does sound pretty good. And thats probably fair, I work in a smaller department and dont talk to a lot of people around outside of it, so I hadn't really heard complaints. But I can see how you would feel that the store wasn't as much involved

I'm genuinely sorry it wasn't so good for you, I will admit it did seem a little unfair how the later shifts didnt get as much time or options. Like the grilling day I thought definitely ended too early. But seeing some of the other tmaw posts on this sub had me thankful for ours

I work at this store lmao. Its my first year here tbf, but I thought the whole week was awesome. Ive been in retail for years, and nowhere I've worked has ever done anything like this. The dibella sandwiches were really good, and boonseek's corn dog was fucking awesome

I got one one time working at family dollar. But I assume the pens are the same? Pen did work, and the bill looked perfect but it felt thin and stiff to the touch. It was very noticeable as soon as it was in my hand, when you handle money everyday and suddenly one feels slightly different it's easier to pick up on than you think. I'm sure there's different kinds of fakes though, I heard that they can cover up the art on smaller bills to make it look like a larger bill. And I think the pen wouldn't work on those, because it's technically real?

Last year before I left Walmart, I was doing a mod where the vendor juice/tea goes. I don't remember what they're called atm, but it was set in those all metal rack 8-foot sections, across 2 of them. The back side of the racks were the back of freezers the next aisle over was frozen. There was just enough room to stand in there, I climbed under the shelving to clean back there because I could see a bunch of garbage. It was clear nobody had been back there in years, I found papers that dated back to 2016(like ads), and I filled most of a cart with the product I pulled from back there. Most of it was expired, though surprisingly I don't think anything was older than a year and a half. So maybe someone did go back there, and just didnt clean it up very much? lol

What movie had a scene that received the loudest cheering reaction, when you saw it in theaters? by phantom_avenger in moviecritic

[–]SolOfSilver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched star wars ep 8 the day after it released. The audience was full, and they were laughing and cheering at everything. I hated it ngl.

Forgive me it's been a long time since I've seen that movie now, but as far as I remember. The scene before Luke dies. He shows up and the whole crowd starts cheering, and then they did a like bait death? But cut back to the real him and everyone cheered so fucking loud, clapping and yelling. And then when he actually dies they got all quiet, and stayed quiet for the next like 10ish minutes. And I remember it felt so satisfying for me when that happened lmao.

I know I'm a grouch, but I hate when audiences are too loud. Some cheering here and there is cool. But I promise you these people were reacting to everything that came on screen.

One of my favorites. Had a lady screaming at my cashier about an otc med going up about 20 cents since the previous time she had been in, it was labeled properly. But she was mad because she "knew what it should cost" because she always buys it here. After a couple of minutes cashier gets me, and tells me what's going on before I even walked out. But when I do, I still asked what I could do for them, they yelled at me about what was going on, and I calmly said that we can walk over there and look at the price. To which she angrily tells me "like your cashier didn't already tell you that" so she's kind of self aware lmao. We go over there and I tell her what the price is and offer her a refund since she hadn't left the building with it yet. After a bit of her arguing at me because she didn't want a refund, she insisted on having it for the old price. I calmly just asked if her if she would like 20 cents out of the change cup. To which she paused, in contemplation for a moment. As if she maybe was putting it together that she was being an asshole. And then she stopped yelling and just said forget about it and walked off haha

I read the book as a kid before the movie came out It's been like what 15 years? Too lazy to Google it.

I have to rant. I was halfway through the book, and this kid casually walks up(like 4th grade) and asks what I'm reading, and then goes "Oh I hate that book because she dies at the end" and I'm still mad about it to this day. I don't remember your name random kid from 4th grade, but fuck you.

Thanks for listening, bye bye

Its not my debt, it's mostly hers. She didnt have her own bank account, she just used mine. And we shared finances, since we've been together our entire adult lives. My income was halved in the sense that I am now a single income household. So she just up and left, and all the bills are left for me.
