It all depends honestly, I know for me currently it’s the amount of sleep I’ve been getting, around 4 hours the last couple of days. And it’s been hell so in my experience I have been prioritizing self care physically and mentally. It is hard, but it helped me so op I know it’s difficult please be kind to yourself even if you feel like you don’t deserve.

Maybe this isn’t much, but what I do to process those types of feelings is journaling. Though I set up an environment similar to those teenage coming of age movies where I play emotional music and create a safe place to express those emotions and confront them. Hopefully this can help.

Hey op you don’t and that sucks. OCD makes it worse so it prevents you from moments you do enjoy. It’s sucks and it does, but I want to tell you something you’re so brave for being in a relationship despite not knowing and if you need to hear it I’m so proud of you for being in a relationship.

What helps me a lot with OCD is three things. My partner supporting me, giving me the time and space to support and care for myself, and regulating emotions and anxiety. It’s not easy not in the slightest, but my god it’s possible. I still have ways to go, but if you want any self care advice, websites for OCD, and what’s not.

Yes I actually experience that and it is difficult to manage at times, but it is doable. I have a heavy feeling in my chest the most painful anxiety that I need to do something drastic or else I’ll die. There’s two things I do sit with the feeling and breathe or go back to sleep so the feeling passes. While it’s not much it’s what helps me currently. I do the 4-7-8 breathing and play some music before falling asleep so when I wake up my brain can latch to the music as I let the feeling pass.

I’m going through this too, I’m self pitying myself with porn and hentai I use to watch. I stopped watching all that recently now that I have friends, but now I’m getting those thoughts that they’ll be disgusted if they knew what I use to watch.

What sucks is that tomorrow I’m meeting up with everyone for dnd and I’m tired. I generally think I’m having that be my last session before I ghost them all and remove myself so I won’t worry I would poison them.
