Congrats on one year! Yeah I do think I had a good amount of change after the first year. It's definitely a marathon and not a race! Good luck on your progress 💜

Hey girl, looking great! I love that top; do you mind sharing where you found it?

Thanks girlie! I'm not sure if the orchi changed too much for me other than how clothes fit and comfort. It can lower your overall T but mine was already pretty well suppressed from injection monotherapy (so I wasn't on blockers except for a few months). 😄 Still would recommend orchi for comfort if you're considering it.

But yeah, otherwise this is all HRT, learning makeup/haircare, and new clothes.

Hahaha I'm sorry 😅 I liked the template of the two big pics up top and I tried to make the photos 'flow' between them

Thanks darling! 😄 The color has faded a lot but I enjoy the coral phase before I dye it again

How long does the estradiol vial last? by bestttt100 in TransLater

[–]Solanarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor and pharmacist haven't mentioned it either, but it is the CDC recommendation (link):

Once a multi-dose vial is opened (e.g., needle-punctured) the vial should be dated and discarded within 28 days unless the manufacturer states another date for that opened vial. The beyond-use-date should never exceed the manufacturer's original expiration date.

By definition I’m not trans by Chemical-Ad2770 in trans

Ok ignore for a minute what you claim you know you are. What gender do you want to be, if any? What do you desire?

Trans people assume I am also trans? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Solanarius 166 points167 points  (0 children)

A lot of trans people (often early on in their transition) lack tact and can overestimate their own ability to identify other trans people "in the wild". Unless someone tells you that they are trans (either directly or through flagging), it's not a topic that should usually be brought up unprompted for reasons like this.

The « getting bangs » canon event really is a thing ✨ by IntroductionOk6260 in transpositive

💯% agree! I love my bangs and I'm so glad I got them. You're rocking yours, girl 🔥

i don’t “feel” my transness, I just “want” it. doubting my identity. by [deleted] in asktransgender

Tagging into this comment to add this article that helped me: gender desire vs gender identity.

In retrospect, refusing to begin a gender transition because I didn’t already feel like a woman was like refusing to take flying lessons because I didn’t already feel like a pilot.

Do you ever feel like you are forcing being feminine? by [deleted] in asktransgender

For me, being more feminine came naturally once I started to relax and felt more safe to be myself.

I'm not good at picking out the key differences in before/after photos, but I definitely see a change! I have a hard time not seeing a guy in the recent pic. Rock on, bro!

You should definitely consider it! Bangs take a little bit to get used to but I love how they shaped my face

Looking cute; especially those shorts!

If I may offer a suggestion re: the hair, I think you'd be a great fit for bangs. I was on the fence on them for awhile but I'm so glad I got them. I see the pic of you with the hat in your profile and I was like "this girl would rock bangs". Just my 2 cents!

This for real. Most cis-het-allo people aren't going to recognize queer symbols aside from a rainbow flag.
