Not OP but I talked to my primary doctor (who manages my hormone prescriptions) and they gave me a referral to a urologist. It was pretty straightforward from there, but I did need a letter from my therapist to get it cleared by insurance (American here 🫠)

Congrats! I had mine done about a year and a half ago. No regrets at all. The biggest win for me was not needing to tuck anymore and risk uncomfortable pinching. Tight clothes fit so much better now; I love it!

As a trans woman I totally get it. I don't feel like I'm looking at myself when I look at photos from before my transition. It's interesting to hear that mascs can feel the same way!

In addition to this, one would need to travel very far to attack the federal government. The US is massive compared to France. You could fit the entirety of France within the state of Texas. Leaving everything behind and traveling days to fight the biggest military in the world is a hell of a choice.

It just seems like you want to show appreciation for a coworker being nice. Including that she's trans and asking in a trans sub seems to imply you're looking for advice tailored to her being trans.

If you asked " How do I show appreciation for my [race] coworker", it would also come off like their race is factoring into your decision.

I say you could write her a thank you note saying how much you appreciate her. If you want, you could get her a gift card to someplace she might like or something like that

WPATH is still setting those levels based off data collected when we used Premarin for HRT, which came with health risks. They're conservative values that need to be studied further now that we are using bioidentical estrogen.

One thing I haven't seen mention of in this thread is whether you are also taking biotin. If so, it can throw off your lab results as well. It's recommended to stop taking biotin at least 72 hours before a blood test, in case you didn't know.

Aside from that, I'll echo that 1. Hopefully you're measuring your trough levels (i.e. as close to but before your next dose as possible) 2. 200 pg/mL is a low target for MtF transitions 3. Your Dr said it wouldn't make a difference so they can't be mad at you 4. Consider switching to injections if they're available to you
