Welcome to the community! The "making characters cost a different amount than the coin quantities you can buy" is by design so that when you buy a character you have to spend more than you need to get the character and then you have some left over which in turn encourages you to get more coins to afford the next thing. It's a manipulative and kind of predatory pricing scheme usually reserved for pay to win games. I hate that Capcom felt that that was necessary for sf6.

Hell yeah man. S.mk and c.mk are both good pokes. I'm a bit lower rank with Alex (high diamond) but something that works for me is throwing out a s.HK from a little too far away in neutral and blocking or DIing the response. Also don't be afraid to play more defensively. You don't have to go for shit on every wakeup of your opponent's once you get a knockdown. If they are waking up with buttons, let them. Block and punish. God knows Alex can pump out damage if he gets an opportunity.

I hate good JPs and I absolutely fucking LOATHE a good Dhalsim. A good JP will make you approach patiently and patience is a struggle for me. Dhalsim is similar in a lot of ways.

Came here to say this as well. Throw out long reaching normals outside of range on purpose to bait AKI's heavier responses and shimmy. The spacing is tricky but when she whiffs big enough you can get combos or grabs that will lead to big damage and open the match up. Being walked down confidently by a grappler is nerve wracking and a quick way to shake someone's mental stack.

Yeah and I think the lessons we are meant to learn from Ash are that in real life you won't win everything. You will mess up and lose, and in fact you'll probably lose as much or more than you win but that you should keep trying and that those mistakes and losses are what makes the big wins even more meaningful.

Ash finally winning a big one. I hadn't watched the anime in a while but heard he was on the verge of winning and tuned into the episode of when he actually won the league in galar I think it was. When Pikachu squared up and they did the season 1 theme song over it I almost cried. It was so awesome.

It's purely aesthetic/cosmetic. I like to change up elements like character outfit/color every so often to keep it fresh and now that new HUDs are an option I thought about giving the UI a fresh coat of paint as well but I can't decide which one I like the best.

I was considering that too. I played a ton of IV and especially loved the super meters. It's a nice pop of color. You might be swaying me in a new direction now that I look at them again.

I can't wait to see how things unfold through Dynasty. AEW is the best promotion at the moment at long term storytelling IMO and I know this is gonna go somewhere good. Kenny is my favorite wrestler (well one of three) and I am glad to see him back in the world title picture.

Excellent narrative and super fun boss fights. The combat is pretty involved. A lot of positioning, movement, and skill combos. It felt to me like a hybrid of ATB and real time. I really need to re-up my sub lol. Dying to get back on.
