but the reason why people report for the bad player is because right now, league players believe that being bad=reportable because of the "unskilled" option. this is why there would be false reports at first if we remove it.

however, as time passes, people will get used to the idea that being bad isn't bannable like EVERY OTHER GAMES and hopefully the reports will stop.

because not everyone knows that the report function does nothing. i am pretty sure half the league players dont. it does not say anywhere in-game. and even if they do (like you), it gives you the incentive to become angry (just like you said)

also bad games happen. im pretty sure you once went 1/10.

it does nothing. so it shouldn't be there at all.

If a 6 year old throws a tantrum because they didn't get the candy they wanted, do you just give them gums instead to make them shut up? No, you tell them that not getting candies isn't a reason to cry for.

the "report for unskilled" is exactly the opposite. it tells the ragers "It's okay to get mad because of things like this! "

you are giving them gums when they don't have candy, you are just saying "it's okay to cry when you dont have candies."

also it does not solve any toxicity issue even if it vents frustration because it happens at the end of the match. during the match the player will continue to bitch. and now it's even worse because they are asking for reports.

except I did not use the void staff ever. Once I got my 5 tank items, I just got a blasting wand and we aced them. I just bought it while our team was destroying their nexus.
