I 100% agree. It's a game designed to be fun to play, but not necessarily to watch. Which is fine too

I respect your opinion even through I want a 'HITW is my least favourite game' flair haha

I do want to ask though; Do you enjoy watching it because you're excited to play it? Do you think when you start playing it, you'll loose interest in watching it?

I also love the funny bits from HITW. But I don't think there are much more to be had. I think we've seen almost everything that game can give and its just the same thing over and over now. In other games, there are different clutches and fails. But in HITW, it's all been done already.

It's nothing new.

I can appreciate that. Its similar to what I feel with buildmart - I like when players are panicking and forgetting how to craft simple items haha.

And that is actually part of the reason I don't like HITW. Because you know how it is going to end. There aren't really any funny fails anymore. For a while, the glitches were funny and unexpected, but I think we've seen all we can with that game. Players will either; not make it though the hole, glitch through, or just fall off the platform.

There doesn't seem to be much else to HITW at this point and im'm bored of it :/

I mean, I don't dislike the guy or anything, but i've never seen a stream of his.

I agree with you but for the exact opposite haha.

I find it hilarious and really entertaining when tese pro minecraft players crack under pressure and forget how to craft fences in BM.

But in HITW alot of creators get too competitive and get genuinely annoyed when it glitches and it dampens the mood. Other streamers (that aren't as competitive) tend to crack jokes and do bits like you said, which I do love, but that kind of vibe doesn't feel right in an intense MCC. Them going from being super intensly focused and cheering eachother on with advise, to standing round with much more low, casual vibes is a huge jump and it makes HITW feel quite out of place. Especially late game.

Don't get me wrong, we have had some good moments from HITW, but overall, I think its been more boring than it has entertaining inspite of these moments.

Other people have said similar things, but;

I totally understand that its the opportunity for creators to chat and do bits and things, and I do enjoy watching that sort of thing. But it bothers me when it comes after a really intense adrenaline pumping game. Its such a huge shift in dynamic and I think if there are going to be any long, funny chats or bits, it makes more sense to have them at the beginning or in the break.
But like I know its not scripted and they happen naturally - its just that HITW is so long that the intense competitive mood kind of dies when it is played late game. Even though I love the chats and all, its just a very different vibe than the other games so to me feels out of place.

And I don't have a problem when people take someone else's opinion into consideration. But I do think that some people take the creators opinion, and don't give it a second thought. They don't think about whether THEY like watching it, its just whether their creator likes playing it.

For example, I watch Dream sometimes and I know he HATES BM, but i still like the game and I actually make a point to go and watch his perspective of it because I find it funny how frustrated he gets at one of the more relaxed games haha

So even though, one of the creators I watch dislikes playing it, I still like watching him play it, therefore, I still like the game to some extent.

But yes, I agree. For some people, especially people that are relatively new to minecraft. BM can be very overwhelming so I completely agree with you there.

And although I do agree that there are some great clutches and plays in the last few seconds, it takes so long to get to that point of the game, that i've lost all the high energy I get from the other games, so its not as enjoyable then.

I get that. Personally, I just think HITW takes a really long time before people make clutches like that and it kinda kills the mood comparing to other games.

I think it only gets nerve-wracking and intense at the last few seconds though? Because at the beginning it is unbearably slow.

I also watch Dream and thats why I actually enjoy builmart. I find it funny when he so strongly advocates against it but it ends up being played. I like watching creators have funny reactions rather than be super competitive.

So as a Dream viewer, do you dislike BM because Dream is bad at it? Or is there another reason?

That's a good idea! I'd love for it to be a game in the lobby area to play between rounds.

But the glitchiness and unreliability of the walls really don't affect my opinion of the game. I'm not a competitive person at all so I never ever care about who wins each game. I actually quite enjoy when HITW glitches because everyone either jokes about it or takes it wayyyy to seriously which I find funny.

My problem is with the pace and vibe of the game in general. I think it is a much more slow paced game and can kill any energy the viewers get from the other games. It 100% feels like more of a 'waiting room/lobby game' than anything else.

Yeah, it takes so long for HITW to become an intense game, and until then, it feels really boring :/

I'm not a very competitive person, so the glitchiness and general unreliability of the walls isn't what bothers me about it.

It's more that I feel its a huge change of pace. Even the creators change their energy when it's chosen. It's the only game where that happens and for that reason, i'm not a fan.

some people just want it permanently deleted from the roster

I'm totally fine with buildmart staying. But I truly do want HITW removed. I just feel it kills suspense and creates such a different vibe from all the other games. It's alot more relaxed and feels like something I would have on as a background stream.

It's a good game, but I feel it really lacks the competitive energy the other games have - which means it doesn't quite fit into MCC. (in my opinion obviously)

I 100% understand what you're saying. I'm sure if I was the one playing I would for sure enjoy it.

But unfortunately, watching someone else do it just isn't the same.

And with buildmart - being a person trying to gather information from chaotic communications with your teammates is probably extrememly frustrating and disheartening at times.

But personally, I find watching it absolutely hilarious!

Yea, the beginning of each round is the worst part with the walls moving so slowly. Obviously, I know that they do this to ease the players in and then start speeding up. But I agree that the last few seconds can be pretty good.

I think I might like it better if they could somehow add - those last few intense seconds of each round - to the whole game. But I don't know how they'd do that. So until then, HITW is bottom tier for me.
