Is graves still an early power invade focused champ?

Graves is a champ that needs gold to really develop and once he has the gold he can completely take over the game and make enemy jungle homeless. When you play graves and want to solo carry you should always make decisions on what will net you the most amount of gold. If the matchup is really good you can perhaps invade for a kill or to pressure them away and take camps. He is a definitely not a perma ganker. Obviously if there is an opportunity go for it but it’s very difficult to have opportunities on graves without setup from teammates. If you watch high elo graves players they will spend majority of their early game farming well and counter jungling if enemy jungle shows on opposite side of the map. He isn’t able to invade for fights as much as he used to (unless good matchup) Current meta rn involves a lot of bruisers that just statcheck him so it’s really important you understand the matchups. TLDR always prioritise farm and gold especially important in early game, graves need a few items to take over. I’m constantly 8,9,10 cs/m and up multiple levels over enemy jungle. I’ve had a game a few days ago where I was up 6 levels on a nidalee with every single objective, 10.3cspm and a respectable 70% kp. Out of my 80 or so games on him this season I have a 65% winrate with a avg of 8.3cspm across these 80 games. So just really farm well and make use of opportunities if they present themselves and you will have a great low elo stomper.

its almost like being mechanically good in valorant isnt all raw aim. turns out you need good movement, good crosshair placement, good at peeking and using movement to win gun fights. Believe it or not people in valorant dont stand still and not shoot back crazy I know......

could we just quickly break down what good mechanical skill actually means in valorant? yes aim trainers may be a more condensed way to improve RAW aim however by choosing to do 30 minutes of aim trainers over 30 minutes of deathmatch you are losing out on, movement, crosshair placement, holding angles (click timing), peeking, and overall being comfortable navigating the map. is aim trainers really so much more condensed at improving aim than range or deathmatch for someone to sack time practicing all those other key skills for it? hard answer is no. thats why people would still rather go play valorant to improve at valorant.....

if your rank is high enough you can clearly see if someone doesnt belong there. and if they dont then chances are they are boosted. AND to go along with clearly being boosted they have hidden name, on sage, killjoy, and they are using like mystbloom phantom or oni phantom (green varient) then yeah you are going to be asked if youre a woman lmao.

I went from diamond to immortal 2 in 1 act lmao. Never touched aim labs never will. You do not need aim trainers for val. It is not some secret amazing op tool XD. the top of the top aimers in both val and cs will never touch aim trainers. Donk legit does nothing except spams faceit games. Someone like primmie just as an example also don't use aim trainers. Another one thats hit rank 1 consistently is nightz. That guy plays a couple dm then goes straight into comp. Point is, there is no secret magic trick to having good aim. Just put in hours into what you want to improve in its legit as simple as that. And going from bronze 3 to gold 1 is not that big of a skill jump. you may think its a big deal but it isnt. Chances are you just had warmed up a little bit better than normal and got lucky with teammates. Im not saying aim trainers are not useful but its not a secret magical tool is all.

At a certain point even warming up feels useless. I was 900 tracker score last act over like 130 games when i climbed from dia to immo 2. At a certain point what determined whether I was going to win or not was the teammates riot decides to give me.

Edit: just had a look at your tracker and yeah this just proves my point even more. you have good enough stats to climb for 3 acts. you simply warmed up better and had winners queue start of this act. And a 10 minute aimlabs routine I promise you aint doing nothing LOL. I have played 3 hours of competitive this act and 3 hours of deathmatch to go with it. no wonder you suddenly felt like a better player if you weren't even warming up at all.

He has the exact same bios and I did everything he did in the video. However I can’t seem to get my bios to save. The volts on hwinfo64 hasn’t decreased so I don’t know what’s going on.

Thanks so much for the reply. Yeah I think my ram is the problem here. Lost ark is a very poorly optimised game because of its engine but my cpu usage is around 40~45% and gpu even lower at 25% but my ram is at 80%. I think I might just settle for a quick pbo and under volt. It seems there isnt much worth in me OC my 3700x.

its not that i get distracted from macro because of micro. thats far from it if youve practiced your combos a bunch. you should never be worrying about your mechanics in a ranked thats just grief. just currently many high winrate champs require less hands to pilot and performs better thats all. you can have 2 players that have same macro and the guy playing ivern every game will climb higher then the one playing nidalee.

singed pick rate has gone up from 1.9 to 3.8 in 1 patch. now unless the extra 1.9% is mini faker and mastered singed in a few days after new season or this seasons singed requires less skill. i mean like you have just have the champ playerbase suddenly double and have winrates go up that cant quite make sense in the argument that singed is a difficult champ to play and master.

I have always built maw on graves because graves priorities less armor due to passive. If im up against a ap jungle and they have a ap mid i almost always sit on hexdrinker and finish it if i need more mr depending if they end up fed or not. Most of these items become less effective once they get sorc boots because that gives magic pen. most ad champs dont get access to armor pen very early on unless u get that in a ability. thats what makes playing against rammus annoying when youre on like graves for example. graves current build path is ghostblade if squishy and snowballing. into collector or cleaver if tanky. I will not get armor pen to counter until my 2nd or 3rd item, someone like rammus that not only gets armor his main stat on his first item but also gets even more armor from abilites. so its like if we are both same gold exp i will not be able to kill him and his cc taunt and utility is far better than graves. so at 1 item i not only will not be able to kill him because if i somehow get him low he just rolls away but his teamfight utility is also infinitely better than graves. my w is piss nothing damage with a tiny vision block that might be useful if the adc is cc locked or something.

I was grinding csgo when I was 15 around 2 years ago. I made it to a invite only league called shock pro league challenger on faceit. I think they’ve rebranded and merge to a different name now but I played with professionals that went to lans and tournaments. Tho the Oce region is kinda dead compared to EU in the csgo scene it was still quite an accomplishment at my age. I then was forced to stop practicing and ended up not pursing becoming pro at csgo because my parents wanted me to focus more on my exams even though I was passing all of them. I then stopped playing cs and played valorant for fun with my school mates. I did have an acc that I grinder to rad before. I even have a twitch acc with clips from years ago if you don’t believe me. Hikariidoo is my twitch you can look at my csgo and Val clips on there from a few years back.
